Donating to Fearless Assassins with a credit card

Keeping servers and forum alive is not only very time consuming but also costs money. Every donation is very much appreciated, even if it's only a few dollars, you can help to keep the wheel running.

 

On the Fearless Assassins Forum page, you can make donations by clicking the donation button.

 

 

Enter the amount which you would like to donate and press on Donate button. You will get to a page where you can see the amount of money you chose, by ticking that you agree the terms and conditions and press on Confirm My Order you will get to the following page. If you don't possess a paypal account, you can pay directly with your credit card by filling out the following form.

 

 

While entries like card number, expiration date, name, address or e-mail are pretty straight forward, I'd like to give a short comment on the CSC number. For Mastercard or Visa, it's the last three digits in the signature are on the back of your card. For American Express, it's the four digits on the front of the card.

 

 

After filling out the form, you can proceed by clicking the continue button. A summary of the payment will be shown as seen in the following picture, where for example 20 Euro are donated with a Mastercard. (The following picture is shown in German, because obviously I donated from Austria where the language is automatically changed to German.)

 

 

You have now the possibility to check the information you have inserted and by clicking on Pay now your donation will be sent to Fearless Assassins.

A confirmation of your payment, including your reference number, will be shown and also sent to you via e-mail.

http://fearless-assa...nations&error=1 Direct link. Enter dollar amount, and click donate. It will bring you to Paypal, which I believe is the easiest way to send payments. There has been some changes and the tutorial needs to be updated now. You can still find the donation button on the right side of the forum page. If you click on it, you can decide how much you want to donate. By clicking on Donate, you will get to Step 2 Confirm & Pay. If you tick that you agree Terms & Condition, you get to the page where you can enter your card details again.

won't be entirely correct, paypal charges a small amount for the currency conversion.

 

for example:

 

10 euro = 12.93 dollar at current rate

on paypal 10 euro = 12.57 dollar

 

 

ps there is a converter available on your paypal account (you might not have it, if you donated as guest): my account: overview =>right corner: currency converter

Therefore the first part of the tutorial is no longer working but the alternative way I wrote is now the only way how it is working. It needs some re-arrangement and deleting. That's all I guess.

********I got to step 2 (or maybe 3) of the donating process. I selected to donate by paypal. I had to reset my paypal password. When I set up my $5/monthly recurring payment on paypal, i could not navigate back to the donation process. So how do I know that FA got my donation? I'd like there to be a "See your donation history" page that shows, once logged in, all the donations I've made and the current "plan" I'm on.

 

 

*****Nevermind the above. I found it under the "Client Area". Now I see that I have two invoices. What do they mean? Has my donation gone through to FA or not? Paypal already told me "thank you for your purchase." I'd like to get the same clarity from FA.
