The default 125Hz USB sample rate in Windows Vista and Windows 7 is not enough for today’s gamers and end-users. There are many USB sample rate patches out there, but none of them support Windows Vista and Windows 7, due to a new restricted driver signature enforcement feature. Now it is possible to use these patches. These patches and these tools have been well tested, but I am not taking responsibility for any damages! Use it at your own risk. 1. Download Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider. 2. Extract the file. 3. Run "dseob13b". Choose and execute "Test Mode". Wait a bit, then "exit". Now reboot your PC.. 4. You should notice and see a script "Mode test windows 7 version 7600" who appeared in the right down corner.. Don't worry we will be able to remove it at the end.. 5. Go in the HIDUSBF’s folder, right click on "HIDUSBF.inf" and choose to install. In the same folder run the "Setup.exe". 6. Click to enable "Filter On Device" at left down corner of the window and choose the poling rate (hertz) wanted. Be aware that a high value could slow your PC.. Recommended: 500 Hertz 7. Cick on "Install Device" and then close it with "Close". 8. Run again "dseob13b". This time choose and execute "Sign a File". Copy/past this: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\HIDUSBF.sys (can be different if the OS is installed on an other disk with a different letter).. 9. Reboot again your PC. 10. Verify by using Mouse Rate or DirectInput Mouse Rate (attached below as mouserate.exe and dimr.exe) 11. If you would like to remove the test mode watermark, run "dseob13b" and choose "Watermark removal" to get the whole instructions. Extract and run "RemoveWatermark" corresponding to your OS (takes some time).. Reboot your PC.. Note: "dseob13b" requires administrative privileges (Run as administrator). That should do the trick. Remember! Use it at your own risk! Don't blame me if your motherboard explodes. But... I already tested it myself, with a lot of success, so you don't have any reason to worry about . If you would like to uninstall it, just right click on HIDUSBFU.inf, choose Install and disable test mode from "dseob13b". Supported OSes: -Windows Vista 32bit/64bit -Windows Server 2008 32bit/64bit -Windows 7 32bit/64bit source: http://www.ngohq.com...-vista-7-a.html- 1 review

I'm having a problem that's pissing me off, and I can't really figure out what in the hell is going on. When I launch a select few applications (Visual Studio 2013 is an example), my mouse stops responding- simple as that. No amount of unplugging it, turning it off, or reinstalling the drivers works at all. Now here's the bit that annoys me the most. If I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to go to the Windows Security screen, the mouse works just fine. If I go back to the Desktop, it quits responding again. If I start the device manager through the run dialog (devmgmt.mmc), the mouse works just fine (but only within the MMC window). There are no device errors ever reported. Now in order to go the mouse to work again, I have to log out and log back in. Once I log out... the mouse works just fine, yet again. I can't find anything relevant on Google, and I'm just plain ol' stumped as to what to try to fix this. The mouse is a Logitech G700s, plugged into a USB 2.0 port. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Revision 5.0. The operating system I'm running on this PC is Win 7 Professional x64.

Ok I can't figure this out, and I've been having problems for a few weeks now, so I'll ask here. I built this PC 2 years ago. Specs: Motherboard: Asus M5A97 CPU: AMD FX 6100 @ 3.3 (Not overclocking) RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB) HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB cache SATA Video: EVGA GTS450 (1GB) (Nvidia) Sound: Onboard Realtek 5.1 digital audio PSU: 730 Raidmax OS: Windows 7 64 bit AV: Microsoft Windows Defender (No other AV programs in use) Everything worked perfectly on the PC. No crashes. No blue screens. No problems or complaints. I recently got a virus (Thanks Tumblr) Which was the newest Moneypak virus, and did not allow me to boot into safe mode for removal, as when I did, each time it would just restart the PC into normal mode. So I decided to format, and reinstall Windows 7 again, and start fresh. This is when all my problems started. No hardware changes. Still using the same software as well. When I play Steam games, I get a screen freeze that goes black, and the PC seems to "lock" with a repeating buzzzzzzzzzzz sound through my speakers. Afterwards, the PC reboots. I could also multitask easily with dual monitors, while running ET. Now, I get BSOD if I do too much. Yet sometimes, I can do a ton, and have no issues. I have also received a number of errors: Video error: nvlddmkm - EventData \Device\Video5 !051d(2558) 0000000002003000000000000E00AAC0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Bugcheck: EventData param1 0x0000001a (0x0000000000041790, 0xfffffa8003b22780, 0x000000000000ffff, 0x0000000000000000) param2 C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP param3 120213-27768-01 Kernal-Power: BugcheckCode 26 BugcheckParameter1 0x41790 BugcheckParameter2 0xfffffa8003b22780 BugcheckParameter3 0xffff BugcheckParameter4 0x0 Service Control Manager: EventData param1 1 param2 Restart the service param3 Windows Modules Installer param4 %%1056 Distributed COM: EventData param1 {995C996E-D918-4A8C-A302-45719A6F4EA7} And I ran a memory test last night and received this: The Windows Memory Diagnostic tested the computer's memory and detected hardware errors. To identify and repair these problems, contact the computer manufacturer UserData - Results LaunchType Manual CompletionType Fail MemorySize 16330 TestType 10 TestDuration 3443 TestCount 12 NumPagesTested 4171155 NumPagesUnTested 1863 NumBadPages 8 T1NumBadPages 4 T2NumBadPages 4 T3NumBadPages 5 T4NumBadPages 8 T5NumBadPages 7 T6NumBadPages 6 T7NumBadPages 4 T8NumBadPages 5 T9NumBadPages 7 T10NumBadPages 8 T11NumBadPages 6 T12NumBadPages 6 T13NumBadPages 0 T14NumBadPages 0 T15NumBadPages 0 T16NumBadPages 0 I've NEVER had a problem until I got the virus, and formatted and did a new install. Is it possible these errors, including the memory error are all driver/installation related?

So I bought a new laptop, and its running windows 7. I am not too fond of a new operating system but I will get used to it, once the kinks are worked out. I am trying to get rid of the mouse acceleration. I have already been into the "ease of access" options but the acceleration is still on and it pretty annoying. Anyone know how to fully remove it? Also with the mouse, how do I adjust the dpi? With the speed of the mouse right now it takes like 2 inches for it to move from left screen to right.

Here is a ET Windows 7 theme I made today, enjoy! Hosted on media fire. Check the cursor, and let me know if it changes, the sounds should change, and wallpaper. The funnest part of it is when you plug in a USB drive or when UAC pops up. They are all allies sounds from the ET pk3's. File was too big to upload directly to this thread. http://www.mediafire.com/?kpv3q5du01eaeg7
