Hey all, Just reporting a minor bug that Tomek is probably already aware of, but just in case: The current version of Oasis on NQ1 has bawts way points off. After blowing the old city wall, the axis bawts keep on trying to touch the old city spawn flag, even though it isn't there anymore. And the allies bawts keep on going back to allies CP. Axis bawts do go back to dynamites if the antitank guns are under fire, but except for this, the bawts directions are really off. It's a wonderful map version btw, very enjoyable and it adds novelty to Oasis, even though it is among the original map the one who aged the least imo. Scout Snake in the Grass, reporting on duty.

Hey all, It's nice to have the voting system at intermission for next map to go on. I always had a question: how does it effectively choose which map? Theory (my supposition): the highest vote score will decide which map. If 2 or more, the first to reach that score will decide; or possibly random among the highest scores. In reality: sometimes it does follow the highest score, sometimes it doesnt, possibly moving on on a map that nobody voted for (hence my the present topic) This morning, i was alone with the bawts (which are not coded to vote). I put a '3' in one map. Not only it didn't choose mine, it actually repeated the map we've just finished (though i've rushed the obj assuming there was a antirush and i just completed the map alone in less than 2mins). Any feedback/comment appreciated, thanks in advance.

ET NQ #1 Game settings: distance of medic/ammo packs throwing

Hi there, I come and play from time to time on NOQ1, map selection is great and very refreshing. As a medic or fops, i found it weird that there is no distance in throwing packs, we basically leave them at our feet, like in the original game... its not possible to throw them in front of a running mate carrying an obj and running for his life... Any chance we can increase that distance ? the distance on Jay 1 is a good standard to me. ++ -
Just wanted to hear everyone opinion on the soldier class (Atleast in NQ1) (Flamethrower). What do u guys think about the flamethrower? Seems very overpowered for some maps such as Supply depot(Pro) on stage 5 where allies have to fix the gold crate system upstairs. Unless you have good team synergy it's pretty much impossible to win a game of supply on the allied side if theres someone with a flamethrower spamming it on the upper side. Also pretty strong on maps like caen. Where axis has to steal the maps at the end to seal the game. I'm not suggesting on removing the flamethrower i just want to hear genuine thoughts.

Hi guys, back to one of my favourite topics: balancing in regards to choke points and my beloved riflenades and other explosives. (here we go Vice!) On NQ#1 recent map pool, especially Oasis, i run into the problem of a complete lockdown of map progress caused by the amount/availablity of explosives, mostly the amount of rifles available. Specifically on Oasis for the third time this week this resulted in a near impossible task to manage the teambalance. People leaving frustrated on the one hand, admins having to use the put command because noone wants to change teams and people lurking in spec trying to join the axis' side of the carnage. But even putting and stacking aimers on allies side often didnt help in mapprogress. This uneven stacking for balances sake often result in a compelte cluster f*** for the following map aswell. So to make a long story short, im asking if im the only admin/regular on NQ noticing it/having a problem with it. There are ways to deal with rifle numbers on certain maps based on scripts and there is the possibility to tweak the ability to vote on maps on playernumbers. But in the end its not on me to decide but to listen to your guys opinions to see whats the he majority view on this matter.

As title If anyone with the power can add waypoints for bots on NQ1 railgun_eu that would be great. π If no one able i'll get round to it over the weekend but I've not got any ftp stuff installed atm so cant add them myself just yet and will forget if i don't mention it now. Thx in advance.

Jumped today evening into NQ1, just at final 3 minutes of map Praetoria Mission Two: Hell on Wheels. Nothing special, until last 30s of map, when Allies had tank right before the final destination - then some bug happened, making it impossible to Allies to finish the map. It was completly destroyed (health bar was at 0% and Axis were throwing nades into it), but the tank could not be fixed, for the 20-30 last seconds of the map - just ~5 seconds before the time went up, there had been an voice announcement, that the tank has been damaged and it finally was possible to repair - unfortunately for Allies it was too late. It really made some people sad or angry and I believe it should be fixed; besides, it wouldn't be bad if that map will be replaced until it will be fully fixed. I had some chat with jijiz about it, below you can see the condums from chat after people noticed that bug and a short private discussion with him. What do you think about it? PS. Unfortunatelly I wasn't be quick enought to record a demo, I'm sorry PS.2 In file all lines starting with "comment" (//), are my input after I cleaned condump from irrelevant output praetoria_bug_short_1.txt

On the No Quarter 1 server I see many binds that has [k] or [d] in it. What bothers me a bit is that some of them dont use ^7 before their [k] or [d] So if they use the bind on a player with a white the name has a green name. Thats all, Love, Golem.

Can you tell me where are the rules for each map? Today I got a warning for climbing on the roofs in Caen. I have never seen anyone warned and in fact many people use them (including administrators). I would like to propose some ideas linked to new maps exclusively for NQ1 as this one's my favorite. The ideas are as follows: -stadiums/football maps(might sound impossible but it is what it is ππ) -Maps like UT2004 ones or any others that look alike -And the final suggestion is maps that resemble WWII(more precisely the places where they occurred) These are my suggestions and I firmly hope that they will be put one time into the server.

The 4 most voted maps will be removed, plus Glider because people either love it or hate it, and server loses half of its players when it's voted. As I said in my post in the suggestion topic, Railgun, Radar and original Oasis will be removed anyway as they shouldn't be part of the rotation (a lot of you skipped this part since you voted these maps out). hey guys are this are the rules for the nq is too simple and like no rules =F|A= NOQUARTER #2 There is no rush rule on this server but we do encourage people to play the map for a minimum of 5 minutes before completing the final objective so that everyone can enjoy the map. Trickjumping is allowed to complete the objective after 5 minutes. Talking in other languages is allowed up to a certain extent since it's a European server. This server has additional vsays so we allow spam to some extent as long as Itβs not just continuous spamming. Players may be temporarily muted if they spam too much. 5 m after thats all is allowed ?? tj allowed after 5m this is insane (not ur insane xD ) it should be no tj for obj to players dont giveshit of the unlikly rules 5 m after thats all is allowed ?? plz guys am suggeting to change the rules once trickjump for obj should be not allowed like beginners server and srry if am wrong

Hey guys Ive been playing these days and i saw alot of ppl complaint about the server lags ppl who hace 20 ping said to me its lagging And i have in regular 80 pong and now its up to 150-190 It lags like hell guys All i ask from you is to restart the server and if that didnt Ork then try maybe to make less mods on the server i think the mods are making it laggy
