It´s my friends band, they are playing doom, stoner mostly in local pubs in live. I´m not into metal much myself but when their own speakers + amps make eye balls jump in the eye sockets then there´s something thrilling about it;) In advance I´d suggest you to turn your speakers to max to achieve the full effect, tried to listen to it on decent headphones and the effect wasn´t so good... Also was quickly skipping through other "heavy metal" topics and though I´m not expert on the genre they seemed too "soft", hence the separate topic Here´s a new album from Mang Ont: https://mangont.bandcamp.com/album/v-hk-2

  3. Following a closed beta test earlier this year, an open beta for id Software's new shooter Doom is now available across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. PS4 (5.4 GB) Xbox One (8.57 GB) PC (22 GB minimum required space) Beta players will get to try Doom's team deathmatch and Warpath modes on the Heatwave and Infernal maps. You can learn more about these through GameSpot's previous coverage: maps, modes. Here is a full rundown of what's included in the Doom beta, as written by id Software: Maps: Heatwave and Infernal Game Modes: 6v6 Team Deathmatch and Warpath Demon: Revenant Weapons: Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Super Shotgun, Vortex Rifle, Static Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, and Lightning Gun Power Weapons: Gauss Cannon Equipment: Frag Grenade, Personal Teleporter, Siphon Grenade The trial period ends on April 17 across all platforms, though it's not clear exactly what time that day it will come to a close. Doom is slated for a May 13 release date. In other news about the game, Bethesda recently announced the game's post-launch DLC, which will include more maps, weapons, items, and customization options. 4. id Software's upcoming shooter Doom will include nine multiplayer maps at launch, Bethesda confirmed today as part of a new blog post and video. Each map is unique, Bethesda says, taking players to places like UAC facilities on Mars and the pits of Hell itself. You can take a look at these in the video below. "Every map is constructed to keep the action brutally fast-paced," Bethesda said. "These multi-tiered combat arenas are littered with hazards, and packed with items that can turn the tide of combat at a moment's notice. And while they all have secrets for you to uncover, none of them are built to allow for easy sniping or hiding points." As you can see in the video, some of the maps feature one- or two-way teleporters, which humans and demons alike can use (though weapon fire can't make it through). There are also bounce pads, explosive barrels, radioactive slime, and lava pits, as well as fire elements that will hurt you if touched. Below is a rundown of the nine multiplayer maps that will be available when Doom launches on May 13. It is possible more will be added as DLC down the road, but no announcements to that effect were made. As announced earlier, a closed multiplayer beta for Doom will run March 31 through April 3. Players who preordered Wolfenstein: The New Order and redeemed their beta code will have access to the closed beta period, while you can also go to GameStop to get a free code. It remains to be seen if there are other ways to get in. More information about Doom's multiplayer beta can be found on the official website. Doom is slated for a May 13 release date. Doom Launch Maps Include: Descriptions written by Bethesda -Excavation: A modest-sized UAC mining outpost. Watch out for the rock grinder! -Infernal: A mid-sized Hell map with both interior and exterior elements. Lots of platforms and chasms, along with teleporters. -Chasm: This massive map takes you deep below the polar ice caps of Mars. A great place to play Freeze Tag. -Disposal: This smaller map is the main waste processing facility for the UAC research and residential complexes. Unsurprisingly, it's full of radioactive slime. -Helix: This is where they experiment on demons and develop advanced weaponry. Which, naturally, makes it perfect for a quick round of Clan Arena. -Perdition: Disjointed and sadistic, this ancient arena is populated by the agonized moans of unfortunate souls who have suffered within its realm. -Sacrilegious: Set within a fracture of Hell, this map offers clear lines of sight. Move fast… or die faster. -Heatwave: An industrial UAC facility with glistening halls that will soon be slicked with human (and demon) blood. -Beneath: Before being beamed to Earth, the energies of Hell are harnessed in this symmetrical and cavernous location. 5. Doom 64 is considered one of the best Doom games ever released. Well, we are happy to report that modder ‘Sergeant_Mark_IV’ is currently working on a Brutal version of this game. Hell bloody yeah. Brutal Doom 64 aims to revitalize the old Doom 64 with new special effects, particles, lightning, gore, new sounds, more weapon animations (shotgun reloads, smoother minigun barrels, etc.) and monsters and stuff cut from the original Nintendo 64 version. Sergeant_Mark_IV has also released the first early alpha screenshots from his mod that can be viewed below. 6. Brutal Doom might be the best way to play Doom these days, given how ludicrously over the top it is. We've been extolling its virtues for a while now, and a new trailer has appeared to remind us why. The trailer shows off the forthcoming 20b update, which adds "detailed destroyable bodies and gib physics", and which hasn't had a release date...until now. Version 20b will be out December 31, as announced on ModDB here. "This update fixes several bugs previously present on Brutal Doom v20, adds new stuff such as more death animations, even better gibs, a rebalanced and more satisfying melee system, and huge performance improvements", the modders behind the project say. The release comes with the inclusion of a massive new map pack, which adds a variety of locations full of demons to punch into tiny bits. "The 'Starter Pack Map Pack' comes separately with 32 new maps, featuring realistic environments, cities, outdoors, space stations, hellish cities, new enemies and bosses, all balanced for Brutal Doom's gameplay. "The entire campaign has a plot of how a demon invasion starts on a UAC Mars facility, then it breaks into Los Angeles, and UAC's Space Marines are deployed to save the city. All maps have continuous progression, every map starts where the previous map ended, giving a feeling of a big adventure instead of just random maps placed in a megawad. Maps that takes place on Earth even have daytime progression (first map starts at dawn, second map at noon, third and fourth maps in different parts of dusk, next map is at night, and so on)." 7. Bethesda begins hype ahead of full E3 reveal. Bethesda has released a very short teaser for Doom, the modern day reboot of its treasured shooter series. Before you get too excited, there's about three seconds of gameplay, with the rest confirming that there will be a worldwide gameplay reveal at Bethesda's E3 showcase on June 14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbI0uSgoXy8 After a lengthy absence, Doom resurfaced in February 2014, with publisher Bethesda revealing that access to the Doom beta would be given to those that pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order. Although a version of Doom 4 existed, that edition was scrapped and the project was rebooted. "An earlier version of Doom 4 did not exhibit the quality and excitement that id and Bethesda intend to deliver and that Doom fans worldwide expect," said Bethesda's Pete Hines said in February last year. "As a result, id refocused its efforts on a new version of Doom 4 that promises to meet the very high expectations everyone has for this game and this franchise. When we're ready to talk about the Doom 4 id is making, we will let folks know." Bethesda is hosting its own press conference at E3 2014. Along with the Doom reveal teased in this video, there has been fervent speculation that Fallout 4 will be shown for the first time too. This has not been officially confirmed by Bethesda, however. Rumours of Fallout 4 development have been circulating for a number of years and in April 2013, Bethesda confirmed the Skyrim development team is moving onto its next big project, further intensifying speculation that a Fallout 4 announcement is impending.
