Read the post and everything seems alright, though their reason for no public server files sounds a lot like a DRM. Instead of giving you less control to protect against piracy, they say its to protect against cheating.

The player animation and movement looks fine to me. Though they seem to have some poor texture artists. Good textures on an old game can still make things look beautiful, but poor textures make a game look older than it is.

I believe that I read that it's 18 slot for ranked server, then $.99 per extra player slot per month. So you can increase it, just takes more money. For consoles I think they will keep it 18 slot max though, but it might be the same as the pc server system.

That sounds much better. Will give you a reason to complete those easy challenges that you normally don't go after.

The money system bothers me a little. From what I read you get money from leveling up, so if that and wagering on matches are the only ways to make money to buy equipment and other things, you will have to be careful on what you spend money. Would also like to know if all your money and assets get reset when you prestige like in MW2.

I have noticed this happening to me as well.

I have only been able to get into killbox through my favorites, I can only see the hardcore server. Also, I always do a full refresh.

I'll see what i can do, I get about $650 a month, and between college, insurance, and medical bills, I only get about $200 to spend and that goes to food and clothes and things like that.

I have to say I hated overgrown, but now i really miss it, it was a very sniper friendly map. Plus, I enjoyed Bloc when I played it.

Well, at least i got the punkbuster problem fixed, used pbsvc.exe to uninstall and reinstall.

Been having a pretty bad week since I started playing Cod4 again. First, my motherboard died, replaced that, and then because of damaged files I had to reinstall windows. I kept all my games but my multiplayer profile is gone, and I am being booted from the killbox server due to punkbuster. I already have updated it using pbsetup, and I am still being booted. On top of all this, my cpu is now overheating. I applied new thermal compound, cleaned the fan thoroughly, and I still have to keep the case open with a fan blowing on it to stop my computer from overheating. Hopefully I'll get everything sorted out soon, but this is why I suddenly disappeared again. -Justan
