TulsaGeoff
Whats the price of that? This is $900 for the same but with an i7. I can recommend with the Maximus Hero motherboard for overclocking. There was a lot of hate for the TUF when they came out. https://slickdeals.net/f/11732367-ibuypower-desktop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-1tb-hard-drive-120gb-solid-state-drive-gray-black-899-99-with-free-shipping-at-best-buy?src=catpagev2

ed_
Everything is very well chosen. Who helped you? I respect the choice of the be quiet! I have been using the "be quiet!" power supply for 12 years. The first broke down only after 8 years (the 5V line on the CPU got out). The second I have about 4 years (Dark Power PRO 550W 80+ GOLD).

Vanaraud
Definitely take 6GB version of GTX 1060: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-graphics-card-roundup,4724-2.html 3GB version puts out less FPS and 3GB restricts how much you can turn up the level of the Texture Details on some games. So 3GB is a NO, NO. Dunno about Kingston A400 as I couldn´t find a review with 1st search but I´d recommend: https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=adata+sx8200+&N=-1&isNodeId=1 Review: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/adata-xpg-sx8200-ssd-review,5584-3.html (HP920 and WD Black are good also, those are NVME SSDs: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/wd-black-nvme-ssd-review,5530.html) From SATA SSD-s Crucial MX500 is a good one. From PSU-s there isn´t much more choises from quiet PSUa than Corsair RMx series. There is a new revision out also for RMx 750W, which is even more improved and smaller in dimensions. IF you play on 1080p and need the highest FPS, then i7 would be a good choice, especially on modern MP games, but on 1440p and on SP a i5 is more than enough.
TulsaGeoff
13 hours ago, TurtleMan said: Your PSU is overkill. This is true. I have 2 1080 TI's, 7 140mm fans, AOI pump, and 2 hd's running off a 850w PSU. Not ideal but runs fine 24/7 with overclocks. 1 hour ago, Vanaraud said: Definitely take 6GB version of GTX 1060: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-graphics-card-roundup,4724-2.html 3GB version puts out less FPS and 3GB restricts how much you can turn up the level of the Texture Details on some games. Any reason for the Adata or WD black over Samsung's 870 other than price? Right now you can get the Samsung for $187 with no tax at https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...820147690& w/code EMCPVRE25 or its even cheaper if you have a microcenter nearby. This was the best one at the time I built my PC. I chose a WD Black platter for a standard storage drive. I agree with all of that. Corsair PSU's are good stuff. I had a 1200 watt one for an old build that lasted until it was retired after 6-8 years with a first gen i7 build. I would just suggest go overboard with a 1070 ti. There are deals like EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB + EVGA 550W G3 80+ Gold Power Supply for $450 https://slickdeals.net/f/11719935-evga-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-sc-gaming-evga-supernova-550-g3-for-469-99?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1 There is supposed to be a large surplus of 10 series GPU's that need to be sold before the next generation can be released. I suspect there will also be a surplus of good deals. Another thing to consider is the next gen GPU's are around the corner. They could come in within the end of the year or next year. People were speculating it was going to be in Q1 or Q2 2018 but it still not out. The CEO recently said something to the effect that it will be awhile. No one but the company knows. EVGA has a 90 day step up program where you can pay the difference for the new tech if it is released within 90 days. https://www.evga.com/support/stepup/ However for Asus AURA (Led controls) with the GPU then you likely need to have an Asus Mobo with Asus GPU. If you haven't checked out https://pcpartpicker.com/ try it out. It's also pretty decent for making sure you are getting the best prices. One more thing to consider, if you have good credit consider opening a credit card for free money or discount. I opened a Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa® Card and Citi double cash for an additional discount of $400 from signup bonuses with minimal credit impact. I can discuss with you privately if you want to know if this is a good idea. Edited June 25, 2018 by TulsaGeoff
*Kiba*
another tip for you building your own pc is so much cheaper then getting one that already build to the spec that you want if i could go back on the last 3 pc i pay 900 to 3000$ for i would still have a pc that updated with the okay spec now this pc i have now is already getting where it's old with new games coming out so when building or buying a pc always looks for that little overkill that going to keep you gaming 2 or 3 years from now
Vanaraud
Tulsa, check out the linked review;) Samsung isn´t on the top anymore, new Micron\Toshiba 64layer 3D NAND chips are very good also. If the price is lower also, then I don´t see any point to get Samyong anymore. My point was also to get NVME SSD than overpriced Samsung SATA SSD. Exceptions aside(INtel 600p), most of NVME SSD-s are faster than SATA SSDs. There´s one thing to consider, DRAM-less SSD-s can´t be made to OS SSD-s other than on newest OS\MOBO. There are good options for cheap SATA SSD-s in US also, like MyDigital SSD-s... EVGA G3 is a fail from EVGA, it´s loud as tourbine. I´d go with old good G2... That´s a good point on excess on GPU-s on Nvidias stock, they sent back to fab about 300k GPU-s, one can expect some good deals considering the news.
