Strange opengl problem

Hi,

 

Since many days I have a strange opengl error :

I had to download a opengl32.dll and place it into my ET folder, but it make the game laggy and shaky.

I have an old integrated video card. But it used to work.
I don't know why I have this problem.

Save your etkey and silent.dat file in silent folder (if u play on silent servers) best thing to do is re-install ET

do you have servicepak3.?

 

does it show u dl in updates graphics adapter wdd1.1 1.2 1.3? are installed.

If it's computer he posted earlier, looks like Win 7 (I'm guessing) and a GMA 915.... which is tbh.. a pile of a graphics accelerator. My guess too is that there's no real supported driver, and you're running on the basic Windows Basic Display Adapter, which is why adding that opengl32 dll caused a different issue. For laggy and shaky, I'd try experimenting with /r_primitives 1 and /r_primitives 2.

People have had your problem @Asokaa but it's hard to get a one-size-fits-all solution to issues like this. Bad PFD and bad mode... looks like either a config issue or perhaps a driver issue (maybe if you just did Windows Updates in bulk). But I'd try enabling Aero. For some reason, having it disabled can cause some extensions in OGL and DirectX to become wonky.

Finally the shaking was coming from the wire of my mouse

 

But still i don't understand why it stoped working without this *.dll which i had to download and place into the ET folder
