Hi

i take the cfg of tormentium and she is very dark, torm say in linux its very shiny ,

i post this topic for know if a same cfg of torm exist to have an equivalent of his cfg but shiny in windows (vista)

The only thing u have to do is probably change the gamma. ; )

 

I've been using his cfg for a while, there are better imo.

Just make it brighter with this code:

seta r_gamma 2.0

 

You can open the file in Notepad and add it in, or find and change whatever gamma setting he already has in his config file.

 

Then just save it as a cfg file and run it next time you play ET.

 

You can also change it in-game with the ET menu after you have started the game.

 

You could also type this into the console:

/r_gamma 2.0

[=FlA=Incom!ng*]

Heres 2 simple gamma toggles, just copy and paste this into your autoexec.cfg

Official Autoexec.cfg Config Request. Only Request

You want to create your customized autoexec.cfg* we can help you to create one, but to help you create one we need to know some details about your hardware, Internet connection and how you wanna play the game (graphics)

 

*Autoexec.cfg is a small file that is placed in ETMAIN folder to load automatically preferences (binds, voice-chat, various configuration settings).

Sorry, bro. Aim comes with practice. You cannot be Michael Schumacher with good car. You need to learn on how to aim yourself.

 

I never understood why people use others config. config = personal settings. Eventually it all depends on driver.

Exactly.. everyone's computer is different; everyone's preferences are different. Find out what works for you and practice with those settings only. Using good players' configs will not magically make you a good player. Learn scripting and configs, then you won't have to make a topic for every single question that comes to mind.

Probably because they're lazy or don't care to find out all the cvars and settings

 

sometimes when you do something with r_gamma it will say some kind of error thing or something in the console, just vid_restart and it should be brighter
