Don't think so, it should be plausible that a computer can "scan" for the fields and just calculate the quickest path to success, and then execute? My dad wrote a similar program for a game called pentomino to calculate solutions based on any starting formation and size of the puzzle. A matter of milliseconds. 1 Quote
