Any cyclists out there?

Anyone else loves cycling?

 

I think it's one of the nicest endurance sports, and with famous flemish hills in my backyard (Koppenberg, Kwaremont, Paterberg,...) it's a fun place to ride!

 

I also love the amount of dedication it takes to get really good at it.

 

Last year I went to Tenerife on a cycling trip, it was awesome! Climbing 3-4 hours (0 - 2200 metres) to the national park of Teide and after that you get from top to bottom in only 15 minutes! :-)

I live in the south of Holland and have the ambition to do more cycling, but not the time. I've got an old racing bike, so I go out for an hour or so sometimes, but that's about it. I want to ride in Limburg one day, but also the Ardennes and France.

Limburg is a nice region to cycle, went there once.

 

One of my goals is to go on a cycling trip to the alps:-)

I cycled a ton when I was a youth, that was my way around. I could go many miles quickly (most I wandered off for was probably 75 miles or more, I am not really sure now).

 

I still ride now but not so fast or far. I am working at getting back into it though.

 

Have some family from Belgium, would love to visit there someday

I ride, I usually do about 20-25 miles a week.  I'd like to do more but work gets in the way.
