Cannot join a team

Hello, this might be a question that has been answered before, but I can't seem to find anything on these forums. 

 

After some pk3 trouble I cleared my etmain and redownloaded jaymod, maps etc, and put a new etkey in aswell. But now I cannot join a team on the F A servers? It says that I should reconnect, and then if it doesn't work I should go to www.fearless-assassins.com ----> here I am :-)

 

It also starts out by saying I should wait a few seconds before joining a team, and that doesn't help.

Hello,can you update your GUID in to your profile?

 

heres some tutorials for that

 

 

 

In wich server you play most or in what servers you had those issues?

Just to be clear, you manage to connect to the server but cannot join alies/axis or you cannot connect to the server at all?

Hello thank you for replying. Yes I'm in but only spectating. On other random servers I have no problems joining teams.

 

I mostly play the main server and beginners, same problem on those two (haven't checked the others).

 

I did put in my GUID now, but now silent it says unknown command, maybe I'm not on a silent server or?

It crash while on server? Try on Silent or Hardcore as boom said type in console /connect silent1.clan-fa.com or /connect hc.clan-fa.com

 

for silent guid remember type /sil_guid in console

 

and for etguid /cl_guid as well ....

 

 

You can also can know your guid in silent by doing !myguid command able to every player than enters the server.

 

(It does give you the silent guid not the etguid)

 

 

Edit: corrected the !myguid explanation i was wrong about that i already checkd :P

Can you try something, connect to jay1 type in console /team b and press enter. It should put you in Alies or /team r enter for Axis. That used to work before, I'm not sure does it work for Jaymod

It crashes while I'm loading/downloading (might be a problem with my setup Mac and all). But it looks like it is the same problem on the NQ servers, I can join those. Tried /team b and /team a, same problem. Heres what it says (in yellow):

 

"Please wait a couple of seconds before joining a team.

Thank you for your patience."
 
then after "a couple of seconds":
 
"If you cannot join teams even after \reconnect, please visit fearless-assassins.com for help.
Thank you."
 
edit: could it be that I have Xpsave and changed guid? going to bed for now..

If you changed your etkey maybe. servers had some updates so may something in the middle just maybe if thats the case a staff+ will help you through the process.

As far as I know if you change your etkey (new guid) your xp will be reseted. If you still have saved xp that could only be that you didn't removed the old et key from your et main folder.. I must say in 13y never heard of such problem, and the message you get on your screen when trying to join the team. Than again I hardly ever played Jaymod, so.. Pls check if you removed the old et key, and reolaced it with new one only. If it still shows you the same, wait a bit maybe someone will give you proper instruction. If nothing of this helps, maybe the best thing would be to completely reinstall your ET, as you allready removed your entire et main folder..

It's the security check. Give it a try now and please don't change your etkey. It's very imp for =F|A= servers. It's differentiates you from other players. 

 

Please, please don't keep changing your etkeys. They are imp. If any issues, we would ask you to change it. But if you change it and if you can't join teams, until we fix, you wouldn't be able to play on our servers.

Works now! Thank you. 

 

I forgot all about the etkey when I was trying to fix pk3 problems so I deleted it and had to download a new one. Will save it next time.

PS To all other players, members and regular - please reach out to those who can't join teams and have similar issue. Admins will get notified too if someone can't join team on server, please ask player to post on forums. Once validated, they will be allowed to play on our servers. Thanks
