Couldn't load default.cfg - I am missing essential files - verify your installation?

Unable to start the game after installation,  facing this issue. Need help and support regarding this problem ASAP.

did you move or copy you et.exe to your desktop? if so put it back in the wolfenstein folder and start it from there. if it works and you want to add it to your desktop do this, go to desktop - right click - new - add new shortcut and type the location.

 

The other option is the game is already running so if you try to start it again you<ll get this message

 

last option you are missing files. reinstall would be your best bet

its basic cfg from et with all standard settings you cant play without it I suggest to re download ET here from forum in download section

Basically delete the game( but save your et key) and reinstall problem fixed.

 

and the Silent.dat file from the Silent folder.  (He has " Server : Silent #1 ")
