110_Factory and/or 2tanks

I would like to suggest for FA 1 server jaymod the following:

 

Replace Battery and Siwa oasis for 110 factory and 2tanks.

 

Reasons:

In Siwa oasis and Battery allies usually get frustrated because u cannot get out of tunnels without being hit by a nade spam, arty spam, panser spam, . it usually is axis camp in exit of tunnels throwinign infinity nades and rnades , etc, and allies wont be able to do the objective, unless teams are real stacked for allies with a huge advantaje of skill for allies.

I did the test today , i stood still in oasis as axis in the same place all the 30 min, throwing nades at the main tunnel exit and shooting my gun., got 110 kills and got killed 20 times. allies werent able to get thru, was me and 10 more axis just staying there throwing nades, it was lame but i wanted to prove my point.

I also have tried my best to do obective as allies, but it is clearly impossible to do it, when axis do have a single one good player camping out the tunnel., the nades will make u impossible to even have a semi equal fight to him., its really annoying . Battery is the same, the hall ways get spammed with flames nades and smoke and u cannot go thru and try to do objective, it takes 2 players to defend the back properly and allies will not do it. its really annoying sometimes to try have fun when u all u can do is stand still cuz there is nades everywhere in siwa and battery , thast why i suggest to change this 2 maps!

My map replacement suggestions would be something like old F.A.G server had,

2 maps I liked and I think every1 used to love (from the old regulars on that server)

1. 2tanks

2. 110_factory

 

2tanks is a very fun map, problem is that if teams are little stacked the exits get fuked and some team gets imposible game, so take adlernest as a second option, ...has open spawns , objective is doable and its unlikely that any team gets spawnkilled as hell, so there is fun guaranteed for both teams.

 

110_factory, for those who remember it , i know they love it, spawns are very far away from the other team spawns so we can say is unlikely that any team gets spawnkilled as hell, its a fun map,m and a very big map, has fun for every taste, specially covert ops..,and for those guys who love to do obj.

 

anyways I hope u think about it, at least, I really dont like complaining and i am not , but just wanted to point out that SIwa oasis does get in my nerves sometimes when i am allies, so i tought i would come here and say it .

 

ofc if u are not gonna put the maps i suggested , i suggest NOT to put like HUGE maps, i mean i used to hate MInas, but now i start likeing it , even when every1 hates that map, but my other suggestion would be that just put maps which the spawns are open enough for both teams (something like baserace----) and avoid maps with impossible bottlenecks like siwa or tc bace , battery.

 

thats ofc if admins are thinkin of a mappol change , I would love to play some new maps, and i think i speak for a lot of the server regulars in FA 1 . .,

I used to run 110_Factory on my old TwC servers. I really loved that map and would be great map for large number of players. I wouldn't mind seeing it on Hardcore server either

I like Oasis and Battery, I always go into that tunnel in Oasis lol, I like getting owned bahaha, doesn't matter in what map I play I always get owned anyway lmao, it doesn't bother me at all lol, I also lag loads xD It's just a game

 

I also don't mind if it gets changed ^^ I likey new maps :] I can get lost then, just like I did last night in Hardcore server lol, takes me a while to find the way in the map lol, gives more reason to play in a server, cus I'd want that map then to get to know it hehe =)

I agree with the booting of Battery, but I think that Oasis should stay.

 

Its a stock map, so it will attract people to the server. Also, Oasis, if played by at least a few smart people, can be swung pretty easily. In the tunnel, 1 aggressive person can (idc about your whining of rnades) pull a whole team through, and the tunnel can be won back by having a rambo medic, and a hyper-cordial-injecting engy defusing and planting landmines. Then you can rely on the noobs to hold the gains made by sheer firepower.

 

The other chokepoint, can be easily defeated by a decent engy, and a fdops. Like some days ago, Val was doing suicide runs, as an engy, but was being chopped down. So I placed the arty on the Axis entrance for their spawn, and the tides turned, and Allies were able to get out of the tunnel (after some spamming of v33 and some pushing involved).

 

Basically, my point is, Oasis can be a good map if you play it smart, and use a little bit of teamwork.

I agree that oasis and battery get stacked in tunnels and it is hard to enjoy them if a player likes the obj part. Honestly I have to admit that I am hopeing for a while when Oasis will be replaced. On other hand I have to say that mostly on those maps server gets full...people like mess?

 

About 110 Factory - we had it on jay1 and it got voted out very quickly - one of the main reason was that axis (maby allies-can`t remember) first spawn is in submarine and they can`t get out fast enought because it is 50slot server. Meanwhile horizon is full of enemies and it was almoust the same as oasis only without tunnels.

 

2Tanks - would like to try it.

Also, people massively disconnected on 110 factory because very few people got the map downloaded and not many people were on it most of time time. It had nice fights in hangar but first allied spawn would get pretty nasty if Axis had an early advantage. Never played 2tanks so can't say about it.

yeh lol seems i forgot that submarine, it is indeed a mess, and it would be fuked up with massive spawn kill, ehm, i think discard it lol,

 

2tanks is nice tho. map doesnt lag i mean at least i can say is not the map,, dont remember ever lagging in f.a.g server when nthey had it there.

 

and omg i remember u could actually get in a plane and fly across the map hahaha.

And while flying in the air shoot panza on EvilToad lol.. God i miss those days.. It was fun playing with Toad, Zane, Pro*Sniper, Moita, Berko, Berdan, etc. Those where some f***ing outstanding cool days.

 

And OMG that superhappycow moving all over the place with his knife lol.. His knife used to make Tooearly and Killyounow angry haha.I need to make Xeon play back and he needs to make me play back lol..

Xeon is still around. He plays on sniper servers.

 

Killyounow was F|A leader once upon a time and got banned cos of continuous bitching and admin abuse. What he did after getting banned just makes me smile now.
