Carbonautics Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Hey, looking at everybody, I too tried to use teamspeak, and it isnt working ? or what idk, It connects to the FA server, i can see all the subdivisions of the servers, i can change between channels, i do have a mic connected[usb], no headphones though i guess that is the prob. But i cant talk or hear anything on it, thanks. Quote
schNee Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 check settings, there is a test button for ingoing and outgoing sounds. check if mic is recognized in windows as well. no headphones so you have a speaker? shouldnt be the reaon why it isnt working 1 Quote
Carbonautics Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) mic is recognised, i use it for recording for my videos, and i do have speakers, only teamspeak isnt working rest all is fine, will look at settings, lets see and one more thing, it doesn't even show the no. of active clients, even if there ar e3-4 online it shows 0 excluding me Edited September 21, 2016 by Carbonautics Quote
Leader RedBaird Posted September 21, 2016 Leader Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) I wonder if having a mic with speakers is allowed. Your mic may pick up sounds from the speakers and create an near endless-loop of echoes. Hmmm, other have used the speaker & mic setup. I just noticed that that video was "Uploaded on Nov 27, 2011", so it could be out of date. Here is a YouTube video trouble shooting your TS3 microphone setings. that might help. (or might not ) Edited September 23, 2016 by RedBaird Old Video 1 Quote
Carbonautics Posted September 22, 2016 Author Posted September 22, 2016 Hmmm, I followed the settings, I tried some things, once it said you need to request talk power, then I followed as it said, I cant request for talk power, maybe that might be the issue? Quote

Carbonautics Posted September 23, 2016 Author Posted September 23, 2016 it isn't like that When the speakers and mic are muted in TS, the icons become dark, showing that its muted. Quote

Platinum VIP -=HipKat=- Posted September 23, 2016 Platinum VIP Posted September 23, 2016 The biggest thing, like shown above is make surer it's using the right capture device and audio device. Might have to go into Windows Sound settings and check to see which are default 1 Quote
Carbonautics Posted September 24, 2016 Author Posted September 24, 2016 but still the current online members is showing zero, i tried the above settings, i can hear myself on the speaker clearly. but idk whats happening Quote
