Dovaah Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Well trailers are meant to be exciting Anyway, you'll have good times playing this game for sure Quote
SiD Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 It was alright. Though it feels like another TF2, rather than a decent Splash Damage game like ET. Quote
Jefke Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) Got a bit over 500h into it. Overall it's a game resembling ET, but with modern ideas. For the better AND worse. It has great basic gameplay: gunplay and movement are solid. Beside that some modern ideas like classes make for some rather cheesy stuff, but to be fair: et had a lot of the same cheesy stuff. Monetization model is okay. It's great for free players: literally everything, but some useless trinkets can be acquired for free. Downside of it is that the rng on top of rng on top of rng causes it to f*** over paying customers pretty badly. Main issue currently is how easy it is to pubstomp. Finding balanced games in pubs is rather rare, and ranked is death. They are working on casual matchmaking, but until then either expect to absolutely stomp or get stomped If somebody is interested in playing: feel free to add me => DrJoske on steam Edited August 14, 2016 by DrJoske Quote
TheJuice Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 i really enjoy it, got about 70 hours play so far, one of the better free games ive played, drjoske was right with the match making. but if you're good at it, you can stomp enemy no matter what. but the chances of getting stomped are also quite high. that being said, its still good fun. Jobba Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Dirty Bomb is super fun. What I like about it is that it takes a bit of skill and common sense, but for the most part you need to know how to use your character and I think that's what matters most. You can be really bad with a sniper like Vasili, but you can be an absolute beast with someone like Nader because they're play styles are different. The game is heading in the right direction and the developers are constantly squashing bugs and optimizing the game, as well as adding new content. It's f2p right now, and I think that if it gets more publicity that it could have a bigger player base. It does have some quirks right now with matchmaking where you can have a team of scrubs and one good player versus a bunch of good players, but honestly, I like that it pushes me to carry my team. If you're good at ET, Dirty bomb is a piece of cake because it's objective based and it makes you think really fast about what you should do next and where to go. I have almost 300 hours in, and I just want to keep playing. Since my Computer setup sucks for ET, DB has been my ET away from ET. Quote
EvilKing Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I have been playing a little lately. I like the game, hit me up and we can play together sometime. 1 Quote
