I was able to set the CC-options to auto-translate to English, so maybe that is why there were French subtitles on a French-speaking video, to feed text-lines into the Google translator. I have no idea when this feature began, but it may expand my horizons. Maybe I will learn to say "damned translator" in Japanese, Finnish, Korean, Pashtun, Swahili, HIndi, Dutch, etc. I have already learned to say, "Traducteur damned"! 2 Quote
