What’s really interesting here is that NVIDIA claimed that the GTX1080 is faster than two GTX980 in SLI and faster than the Titan X. This makes the GTX1080 the faster single GPU ever created, something that definitely surprised us as a lot of people expected this GPU to be slightly more powerful than the GTX980Ti. According to the graph, our guess is that the GTX1080 should be around 40-30% faster than the GTX980Ti.

"The GTX 1080 will retail for $599 (~£450), $50 more than the GTX 980 cost at launch, while the GTX 1070 will retail for $379 (~£270), again $50 more than the previous generation card—but only for cards made by partners like Asus and MSI."

These cards are ridiculously awesome. 1070 for $379? Compare that to the $1000 Titan X

in Brazil, with tax, I guess this will coast more or less 5000 reais or 1500 dollar, but i'm so happy with mine R9 280x 3GB 384 bits

First sentence clearly states that 2x performance comes in 1 Virtual Reality application.

Got to love how everybody will go around tell all games now have 2x perf. In your dreams:P

Gtx 980 TI OC-d to 1500 also, with new process they could default to that  speed now. GTX 980Ti did 2Ghz+ also(though under  liguid nitrogen)

I´m holding my horses till real reviews come out, in matter of week I believe...Edit: somethings messed up with my editor...
