Something went wrong with my resolution settings.  I have a UHD screen 3840x2160.  Been playing with this for long time.  NOw all of a sudden it's back to default just in the game.  I checked my Config and it shows 3840x2160.  But when I load ET it's default.  I remember the first time I had to put commands in the console to corolate for a custom resolution.  Anyone remember the commands?  Please help me........there was 3 commands.   Thanks from the OLD FART.

Have you tried /exec [your cfg] ?

These are the commands that are part of your config probably.

\r_customwidth 3840

\r_customheight 2160

\r_mode -1

(this last one forces ET to use your custom-defined resolution)

Activate the new settings with \vid_restart

If I'm not mistaken (never really understood how permanent configs work), you can make these changes permanent with

\seta r_customwidth 3840

\seta r_customheight 2160

\seta r_mode -1

"You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day" :(

What pep says is your solution, works great. Small error: r_customwidth and r_customheight will do it :)

this is what i do when i enter jay1

/r_mode -1

/r_customheight "2160"

/r_customwidth "3840"

/vid_restart

It works in game but when I leave and come back it not saved.  When I go to etmain and jay NQ to the config all the customs hieght and width are correct.

Also here,

(works only for windows version):

Easy way is to create a shortcut on desktop and in the target area after the location add +set r_mode -1 set r_customHeight 1080 set r_customWidth 1900 set r_displayRefresh 60 click apply and presto you will have your custom resolution

So it will look like this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe" +set r_mode -1 set r_customHeight 1080 set r_customWidth 1900 set r_displayRefresh 60

(ofc you change 1080 and 1900 to your current screen :) )

You can do /cvar_restart, /vid_restart, /exec cfg in console and see of that fixes it, too
