Flible
I have this pre-Christ videocard called the Blaster4 MX440 (GeForce 4). I was wondering if I could actually get a few bucks for it still using some local trading page on facebook. I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong subforum. effexx
Old thread, I know, but I don't believe you've any chance to convert it to cash unless someone's specifically looking for exactly that card (or you're extraordinary salesman ). These days cards are mainly about 3D and that one scores way worse than even onboard Intel graphics chips from 2009. Which themselves are 10-100x worse than what Intel's been packing inside their CPUs for couple years by now, not to mention standalone GPUs from AMD or NVidia. For about $100 today one can get something that's literally 1000x better for 3D than that GeForce 4 card. Radoria
Eh, for that kinda stuff. It's more about nostalgia. They seem to average about 10 bucks on ebay. But it was a pretty common card. The more rare something is, the more it can be worth. For instance, a working 486DX4 processor can still sell for 50 bucks. But the more common 486SX is going for 10. 100mhz for the DX4 and 25mhz for the SX. Not a noticeable difference outside of Win 3.11.
RatSpit
It would look pretty nifty as the "clanker." in the center of a wind chime I think.
