PHANTASM Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 hey blacky if i contribute can i just send the money to you since your like 10 mins away? lawl? yesh just post teh address and I will send you some ca$h LOL. credit cards are for losers Quote
PHANTASM Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 It's kind of insulting to repeatedly offer to give a contribution and be told to use a system you don't trust or need. In America if you use a credit card they will send you a bill with five days notice for your payment check to clear (not postmarked, but to actually clear the bank). You can bet they try to make your payment miss the deadline so they can charge you a late fee. If you are late, they also raise your rate to 30% on your existing card balance. If you pay the whole thing off every month it actually LOWERS your credit score. If they raise your interest rate on one card it affects your other credit cards too (it's called "Universal Default"). So you can be ten grand in debt on five different cards at 9.9% interest each and with one late payment on one card be ten grand in debt at 30% interest on all of them. There is also a Finance Charge for using almost any service. Again, more fees. The fees are so bad President Obama is trying to force credit card companies to lower them because they violate most US state's usury laws. This is why most credit card companies locate in South Dakota - that state's bank regulations are very loose and they can rip off the rest of the country without being charged with usury violations. I made $89,000 last year (I can post a copy of my US 1040 Federal income tax statement to prove it if you think I am lying, without the Social Security number of course). I was laid off in February and started playing ET again for something to do while I sit at home sending out resumes and collecting unemployment. I could have given you guys $500 or $1000 and really not noticed. The equity value of my daytrading account moves up or down that much every day. I don't have a credit card (I got rid of them many years ago), and there is no way I would link my debit card from my checking account with all my personal information to a website where no one even has a real name or will give you an address to contact them. Just my thoughts. You had a chance to have a sponsor. Enjoy asking high school kids for twenty bucks. Quote

Enjoy asking high school kids for twenty bucks. its not like we ask anyone to give, its up to the individual, we are not looking for sponsors either, if you dont trust paypal or credit card companies its ok no need to rant about it, anyways your cheque would have probably bounced and it would cost me 30 bucks so everyones happy, life goes on. Administrators daredevil Posted May 16, 2009 Administrators Posted May 16, 2009 What Joe said. More or less thats why Paypal was made. It works on email system and you have to pay no fees to keep paypal. They deduct some amount of money from my account when you send me money not a single penny from sender account. Just to quote you: there is no way I would link my debit card from my checking account with all my personal information to a website where no one even has a real name or will give you an address to contact them. If you use paypal then your checking/credit account is linked with paypal. When you send money to someone they only know your paypal email ID. So in short none of your personal info is getting outside except one fake email ID. In Paypal you can add upto 7 email ID. So, in the end you are saving your all info from showing to anyone and same with us. And answer to your question is No. No one will ever put up their address unless we know you since long time. Only 1 person ever got my address and that was .bb.Blackhawk since i know him for 2 years+ This is 21st Century where people buy from Internet and sell on internet. Hence Amazon.com is making this much profit. Credit card = system by which you don't have to keep cash all time with you. You loose credit card call them and get new card. With cash you loose them forget it. If client doesn't pay their bills on time credit company has all right to put any charges they like which are clearly said in their brochure because they offer you money when you need it without carrying any cash in pockets. Tonka Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 ive never used paypal, but i am leary of using/linking credit card or bank account to it. if you google paypal hackers/hacked, you come up with many people say they had their accounts hacked, also people saying they have hack programs to hack it, looked up on yahoo guy says- Hacked paypal, i think i know hacker, what can i do? ok, so this guy was threatening me he would hack me for awhile now on xfire, but i didn't believe him, then yesterday i was going on paypal and my account wouldnt work....password denied was like wtf, its been hacked, because my ebay has been abused too... the hacker is in a different country what can i do to get my justice????? paypal hasn't replied yet ****! lotta crime out there, I don't know how easy/hard it is for paypal to get hacked but, i dont want to take that chance, I also see why you wouldnt give out your address either of course. just my thoughts. thundercunt Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 you dont give name or anything on prepaid credit card? Nope... nothing you don't even have to call to activate it. just pay for it and they scan it and its ready to go. but this is just with the vanilla visa card. others may vary. here is link to there site. https://www.vanillavisa.com/home.html Quote
Tonka Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 looks like there is a 5 to 8 dollar activation fee Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted May 17, 2009 Administrators Posted May 17, 2009 If i deposit check then it shows where it has been deposited and i can re-route back where its been deposited if needed. I really don't need to expose my personal banking account LOL.. Most of the paypal account are hacked because of person using crack software for saving 120$ to buy his own OS or any xyz software. Most of the cracked softwares floating around have spywares, malawares, keyloggers, backdoors, etc.... They blame then omg paypal hacked because of their urge to watch porn on internet and they keep downloading porn softwares LOL.. More or less their are tons of scams floating around in email. Paypal clearly says it never asks for your pass or anything in email. Go to paypal.com and just login. But NO. People FAIL in that simple instructions and enter passwords in that scam email and then cry OMG OMG someone hack my e-mail and paypal. They deserve it very well. Even credit card comes with fraud protection. If you call them they stop your account at the same time and put on hold. But no laziness is so much that they call credit card after 7 days of loosing their card and blame on credit card. @Tonka Please send me some article which was published with right information and having date less then 1 year. It's IT industry and things update way fast. I have seen all those articles and most are scam filled with google adds to earn money LOL. The crime which you are saying is only because of lame ass customers who don't care to see where they are putting their email ID and password when they are said NOT to do that from start. More or less half people don't even care to update their browser and still keep using windows IE 6 when IE 8 is out LOL It also provides you some security features which people never care too look for. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/websc ... ft-outside Its 21st Century. How about you guys stop sending e-mails and use more secure way of sending post cards LOL...even e-mails can be hacked. LOL Quote
