There was article in todays Iltasanomat (finnish news magazine) of Loe Komarov (TOR) where he say that he is ready for National tournament and ready to come play in Finnish Jersey if they take him. He agree when it was asked that did he play last regular season game in Toronto jersey because he wanted to me more ready to National tournament and he did agree that, saying that he did ask to be in roster so he can get practice and touch for the hockey if he would be choose to Finnish team. I never ever see anyone else doing stuff like he do for be able to play in Finnish national team, only player which love national as much as Komarov dose is Petteri Nummelin, couple year ago, Komarov leaved from Toronto to KHL so he can get better change to get Finnish national team in Olympic, never see anyone leaving from NHL just so he can play in his National team. I has always admire Komarov a lot because his attidute and his love to Finland, and reading stuff like this again made me happy and admire him even more. He is great guy, leader and man who have probably biggest heart in hockey atm. Great guy. Now i make promise to try watch more his game in next year

 

I am already started to get hang over that regular season ended, i started to regred that i didnt watch more hockey, i should have watched some Columbus games and Toronto games too, next year i try watch all Karri Rämös and Niklas Bäckström games, at least 10-15 Leo Komarov games, and maybe even 10-15 Columbus games if Hartnell continue his career in there. I try to get 200 regular season game in my belt in next year as i did get before.

 

BTW as i say couple post ago about finnish coach Lauri Marjamäki and how he have balls to use two goalie in the playoffs, in today game, he did use Aittokallio, it was his first start in net in these playoffs and it was semi-finals (in NHL it would mean Conference Finals) 6 game and Marjamäki team Kärpät was down 2-3 against Tappara, and they did win game in overtime and serie is tie now. Antti Törmänen HIFK coach from Finnish league has made big positive impact to me also, he can be future NHL coach too. Has coach his team to Finals now. He has coach his teams to championship in Switzerland and in Finnish junior leagues and second league (like AHL to NHL)

I have always think that Maloney is one of bests GM in NHL, i am ready to take him to Wild if we go short in playoffs.

Cameron should have been gone already... if it wasn't last year.. don't like his style.. and he has a lot of good players in that team.. well someone else will do a better job making this team work together.

 

I don't know how Arizona see things sometimes, how can you even think this GM could do something good with no money, no possibilities to go get someone, and all the team sell rumors, of course the owner don't want to invest, but, at the end, Maloney will be more happy as a GM with another team, he will be able to do his job. Getting Duclair and Domi was already really good but forget about being near of playoffs with that kind of team. Come on

 

Keeping Therrien is not a suprise for me as i watch a lot of hockey new and radio in Montreal, Bergevin and him did really bad this season, and i'm not saying i like Therrien as a coach, not that much, but he deserve another season I think. Last chance Mr. Therrien. If next year is not a good one and at least make the playoffs, and if Bergevin is not able to add to the team, (because i really think we need big changes on attack), Maybe Bergevin will have to go too. This season was really pathetic. Price is the no1 but he's always injured. Can't always count on 1 player.

Yeah i agree you with all what you say about Arizna and Maloney, let see someone will take him for sure, maybe Wild, Columbus (what i hope not because there is Kekäläinen and he is just started his job) Winnipeg or Vancouver. Let see maybe even Calgary could take him. Lets remember that Maloney was able to keep Yandle couple extra year in Phoenix and he was able to lock Oliver Ekman-Larson too for big very cheap contract, plus he did bring Bryzgalov in team too, and when Bryz was in team he was top 10 goalie in NHL, in PHI he career turn to down hill. Smith was good in first year too, plus Ribeiro was great in there too, he find a lot cheap players to team, who then joined to other teams when they contracts ended with bigger contracts, it was place for many players to take new direction to they career. Let see if they kick they coach too who is in my mind top 5 best coaches of NHL. Tippett and Maloney signations has been best things for team in they NHL history. If they kick Tippett too we can get new Toronto or Edmonton who will be out of playoffs next 5-10 years. Let see.

Busy day coming tomorrow, i try find little bit time to make update to my NHL fantasy team, last update i did in 70 game mark, lately i has been so busy/depressed/tired that i has updated that every 10 game and not 5 as start of season, will give awards after season. Friend coming to visit in the weekend! I have enjoyed on doing my Fantasy team a lot, maybe will make new award, for player who has done most improving from last season. Maybe named that for Niklas Bäckström Trophy if he move to europe and is not available to my team anymore and Zenon Konopka trophy can be possible (maybe most pm in season), one trophie i will name for Scott Hartnell after he retire. Next year i have to follow more other teams too, so i can find new favorite players outside of Wild too, i found that Bennett is good player and probably will take him in my roster. Let see, would not want to give up on anyone, daam salary cap.

Dam it, it just made me sick to read this topic http://wild.nhl.com/club/blogpost.htm?id=46324&navid=DL|MIN|home we are without Parise, Vanek games 1-2 and without Haula game 1. Nino - Haula Pommer was our best line for over month, Haula made 10 point in 10 game period. How is possible that we lose our two best scorer (goal maker) and second best two-way player, we just lost over 1/3 last couple months production with those three key injurie, can be even possible that Parise and Vanek lost whole serie. Parise is one of NHL best scorers and its sad that we lost it, it would affect to every team to lose player like Parise. I wait a lot more from Coyle, who fans from Wild fanpage love so much, but who has been awfull last month or so, last goal from start of march. He need to take big step or we shoud trade him in summer.

Hope die last, we can still win this serie. I still believe our team, i still belive that we can win Cup, but now we have to take game by game, if we win one or two game from these coming two, it give huge boost to team and then when we get Parise and Vanek and Haula back no one cant stop us.

I think Kadri contract is better, Reilly havent show whole potential yet so contract was based more to his potential than current lvl/stats, when Kadri has shown his lvl of game and its good contract for player which can make 40-50 point per year and maybe even 60-70 point is possible.

Just got last two Wild game watched, first one was awfull game, we was like AHL team playing against west best team, second i am happy, even that it hurt me a lot more than first lose. Here come what i added to Wild forum. (They love in Wild form blame Koivu on every problem what team have) Now to sleep!

 

 

 

Koivu is not the problem of team, even that some (love to) think so, its always easier to blame someone after lost games, i have never understand why Thronton (SJ) got so much **** on his neck, even that he always was team (one of)best player and was great leader, now when he dont have C anymore, ppls start to see his value again. Jagr got a lot **** too when he was Captain of Rangers and now all praise him, ppls just wait too much from Captains. Captains dont lose games or win games either its team which lose and win.

 

We played solid and good game against west best team without Parise and Vanek which made 40+ goals what is almost 20% of team goals, i am happy how we played in last game, we showed little bit Wild heart where to build on, we did lose two first game against Colorado too couple year ago. With little more luck we could have win the game, first goal was not the goal, and there was couple scoring situation where we would have made goal if we would had even little bit more luck.

 

Atm we are not wide enough, we dont have player which one could take Parise or Vanek spot, we should bring more wide to forward group in next summer, and powerplay has to be fixed, kick Brunette, PP was working when Koivu was playing in the wall and not in behind of goal, team should use different strategy, Vanek is second best PP player (in goals, after Vanek and Ovie came to NHL) after Ovechkin and we use him wrongly, we use Parise wrongly as Koivu and Granlund too, Scandella should play in first unit, and not Suter when he cant get puck throught to goal. If you check Parise, Koivu and Vanek past stats from PP its impossible to see so huge dropp after Brunette take control of PP.

Komarov has been my fav player in national hockey for many years too, and he might be good captain for us but WHEN Minnesota drop from playoffs

F... i am so daam depressed and mad after this lost, we was better team first 35+ min, and then that daam Suter make horrible play again. My motto is that game take 60min and one mistake never determine outcome, no matter if mistake happen in overtime and lead to lose game, because you had that 60+ min to be better team, and you lose it because you was not better than they was. But havent been this pissed off for long time to someone. Guy earn 13milj dollar per season and i havent never see him baddle/fighting or trying to show some urge to win game, if someone drive to our goalie, its Suter teammates who will come and "fight" against those kind players, Suter just skate away. With 13milj i want see urge, i want see somekind heart and baddle lvl. That goal what came from his mistake killed our game, we wasnt same team after that, and after Dallas made they game winning goal, i started check our site, i knew that we lost, i can see when games go overtime, but not how game end when i watch game afterwards, so i knew that we will not make two goal.

Usually i dont blame anyone on loses, but this time Suter was major reason that we lost game, he just cant get puck throught to goal, we had forwards front of net, great opportunity to do goal, and what he did, same as he do everytime, hold puck and then shot it to first enemy and then ici it, from that icing we got penalty and from that powerplay they made goal and that turn whole game. Suter should have been man and apolgize that in his interview, Torchs should have bench him for at leats 10+ min to wake him up. We have great defenders we not need Suter, we could use him to get some big forward to group in next year, yes he did make new Wild records in points and assist, but he get so big ice time thats it not surprise, with that Ice-team Scandella or Dumba could do same points.

 

Maybe we try take Stamkos from free-markets this summer, new goalie would be great too, but it hard to get goalies these days, goalies which are available are Howard, Ward, Miller, Pavelec and any of those are not better solution than Dubnyk, Andersen could be available, but do we have chance to get him, he havent proof his lvl yet either, Elliot could be available and he is great goalie and most underrated goalies and players in NHL, but it could be difficult to get him. Stl probably will keep him.

 

First time in my life i have lost hope to Wild, i has always think that 3-1 situation is nothing, as long as there is time you can win it, but now i think we need to make re-build, trade Suter, Coyle, Zucker, and try get Stamkos or Drouin or someone. First thing is to kick Fletcher he gave Burns away for Coyle, and then we should kick Brunette, its impossible to have so bad powerplay when you have Vanek (second most PG after Ovechkin when he joined to Wild) Parise, Koivu, Dumba and Scandella which both have one of bests shots in NHL. Plus Pomminville has been great in PP too as Granlund (in AHL/FIN). We use our guys so wrongly, thats why our PP suck every year. Torch get still 9+ from me as rating. But i am not sure if he can coach team to Stanley, do he have tools to make tactics and can he get players love winning. Attidute is our team biggest weaknest, you cant win Cup if you lose 13 from 14 or 7 and 8 game straight every year.

 

But i am thankfull for Torch, he got as fighting! I like he how dont overplay or favor players, you play if you earn it has been his motto and he has always followed that. Only thing what he should do is to cut even more Suter ice time.

 

I hope we could get Julien from Boston, with him Koivu finally could play with his strengths and he would get same attention/appreciaton than Bergeron get in BOS.

Its amasing how teams *sisuuntuu* when they play back against wall, so many times wins have 3-1 or even 3-0 and leading team just cant settle it,

and then they lose momentum and it is rly hard to get back in game.

Frankly i wish that Wilds lose just cuz of world championship games

When life is hard and depressing you can get enjoyment and happiness from watching your idols. Daam i miss Marty, didnt watch a lot his game after Nitty left from Tampa, but always watched his goals and assists and read all the news and watched video clips, now when Wild is in difficulties i get enjoyment to watch old videos from great players like Martin St. Louis, i always dreamed io see him in Wild, maybe Hartnell is coming to Wild now.

St. Louis made his biggest suggess in league when small guys should not even play in there, he was NHL smallest player several years, but with his big heart, he made way to other small players like Johnny Gaudreau. With Niittymäki(beat several injureis and was first one to play with artificial joints in NHL), Timonen(blood clots), S.Koivu (cancer surviver) and Nummelin (beat severa injuries) he(they) is(are) example to all of us to never give up!
