von Rantala Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Cheer Hawks to cup now, reason because Kimmo Timonen play his last season, because in my mind he is player who most earned cup from those two teams, Tampa can win cup in next year to, Timonen cant, he will retire after this season. Tampa Bay Offencive groups 10 Defencive groups 8,5 Goalie 8,5 Coatch/GM 9,5 Totall 36,5/40 Chicago Offencive groups 9,5 Defencive groups 8,5 Goalie 9 Coatch/GM 10 Totall 37/40 Cup goes to Hawks in game 7 There is no team in NHL who get 40 because salary cap you cant get best players in every spot, but Hawks looking good, they only question mark is that they play with four defender, how they can be able to continue if couple game go to overtime and over 100 game already played, so there is Tampa chances. Tampa weak point is in goalie area, but because Corey is almost in same line with Bishop that not so big weak point, even that Chicago play with only four defenders those four is better than Tampa's top six together. Tampa own best offencive group of NHL and one of best offencive groups of NHL history, its long time when some team had 3 offencive line who all can play point per game, but Tampa own that kind group now, Detroit (997-1999) i think was last team who got as good and wide offencive as Tampa have now. Im happy that Tampa is in finals and i will be happy if Tampa win too, because it can start new area in NHL, maybe GM's and coutches see that offenive hockey is this day recipe to suggess, when LAK won two cup in last three years its showed that you can win cup with defencive style game, Tampa and anaheim showed that you can suggess with offencive style play too. Chicago is between on those two team in gamestyle. Quote
DarkStorm Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I think that Tampa has definitely chance to win few games but Chicago will win overall(i think 3rd stanley cup in 4 years?) Quote
LA_Kings_Fan Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 3rd in FIVE years (2010 + 2013) ... Kings were in there in 2012 and 2014 ... but yeah still a hell of a Team and accomplishment IF they pull it off, don't count Tampa out though. Quote
DarkStorm Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Ahh sry, my mistake but still Sure im not counting them off, they made hell of a long journey Quote

Yeah i think its 49-51 to Chicago, im not surprised at all if Tampa Win it, only question mark in my mind is in goalie, but lets remember Bishop played shutout in game 7 against NYR, soooo we can see champion from east now for sure, and team is so well builded that they can win in next year and in 2017 also. von Rantala Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I think that Edmonton will be in at least in second round in next year, and maybe in conference finals, they need number one goalie, and Niemi is free now who can be answer to they problems, Niemi is still good and can be top 10 goalie what enought for stanley most of time, and they need offencive defender too, but they have one of best offencive groups in NHL and they got great couch behind bench, so they can win cup in next 1-3 seasons. Key for suggess is new number one defender and number one defencive defender, and number one goalie, offencive group is NHL third best in my mind, after TBL and CHI, but CHI will lose couple key players after this season so EDM own second best when season start, even that i think they will trade one of wingers or centers to get new defender. Toronto is not far away from playoffs either, they need number one center and new number one defender, one winger and one top 6 defender too (so two defender tottal) they got Babcock so they will be in playoffs next year, and can win cup in 2-5 years. Goalie situation is strong and they can trade Reimer because Gibson can take number one slot in coming season, he played well in AHL. Quote

meow Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 great game last night. funny how the hawks seemed to hold back until they saw a weakness in the bolts armor. The mistake was to defend and only defend. I dont know why teams who lead after 2 periods always do this. They're in the final against Chicago leading by 1 goal, why the f*** would you ONLY defend -.- It always bites them in the ass. 1 Quote
