Здраво! (гоогле транслате  )    (wrote on his wall)[/size]

This is how I read it ;)

zivim means: i am living
u Belgiu: in Belgium
tu?  : in or you?

Srbiju rodbina: famlily in Serbia?

I used Google Translate, which "detected" that line as Bosnian.

Google produced similar phrases from Bosnian and Serbian, but both were shown in awkward English.  Normal for google.   :)

I used that service to post a Serbian Hello on his wall and do so hope that it is not insulting or something!   :)

"At the moment I'm in Serbia, I live in Belgium but I have family here"
Good Helsen!

This time, Google detected Serbian and translated it as "Now I am currently in Serbia, I live in Belgiu have that in Serbia relatives"

Thanks, Audrey, I understand it much better now!   :)

He lives in Belgium, but is visiting Serbia, where he has relatives. !  Hmm, my English line is awkward, too!

Audrey...you replied as I was editing this post1  (out of smileys)

Serbian, bosnian and croatian are very similar. Maybe it was awkward because he hasnt really made a nicely constructed sentence, I guess he lived in Belgium most of his life. Eh Ajs? :D

I did not use any translation program :), and I never saw any serbian, bosnian or croatian language before. To me it looked a bit like polish ... all slavic languages in the end :)
