Kevlar Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 **Predicting the future**. Clarkson will write a large check to pay for his actions. People like Clarkson only say they're "sorry" with large chunks of money. History Channel dumps cast of the U.S. version of Top Gear and replaces them with UK cast ( cast contracts will likely require the show be filmed in the UK ) Show will get bigger budget, cast gets bigger salaries (Clarkson in particular will make more money). Once free from the yoke of the BBC - they will really get nuts - ratings will soar. U.S. version gets sold back to the BBC for twice what they used to pay to produce the current version. There are probably hundreds of people working on some version of this deal as we speak. Or...he will apologize publicly, write the aforementioned large check, take a vacation to the south pacific and come back next year like nothing ever happened (probably with the same producer). 3 Quote

gibson66 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 we got 22 seasons out of him before the PC crowd got what they wanted. It's sad to see him go, but it's not like he didn't have one hell of a career Quote
Internet Explorer Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 They would be dumb not to take him back... He is a huge part of the show The cars are not the only part of the show. I mean the comedy is a major part of it too Quote
Stuart Broad Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Or...he will apologize publicly, write the aforementioned large check, take a vacation to the south pacific and come back next year like nothing ever happened (probably with the same producer). Disagree with the first parts just because I know they won't sell their souls to America, but this part hahah probably bang on Quote
