frag Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 lol JoeDirt... It's true. Installed once on my Macbook Pro and the fan kept going and gameplay was soooooo choppy. You'd figure that the specs on the Macbook Pro are pretty decent for gaming, but I think the OS itself is not optimal for gaming since there's so many background apps executing behind the scenes. ETPub doesn't support it, the game itself is in a crappy state, just like it isn't finished yet. Better play on Windows, e.g. through a VM. As you'd have expected, you can't run both simultaneously. To choose between them, fire up your System Preferences pane, navigate to the Energy Saver tab, choose "Better battery life" for the 9400M or "Higher performance" for the 9600M GT, log out, log in and you're done. I need to fine tune the mouse movements. Or maybe hook this up to a monitor and play because the screen on the Macbook Pro just had me a little dizzy.
