So for all you F1 fans me included it's that time of year again the opening Grand Prix of the 2015 season at Melbourne Australia. After a eventful 2014 in which Hamilton took the drivers championship in a season that was torn apart by Mercedes pace.

So 2015 is here:

- forumla 1 is without 1 team that being caterham as they could not find a buyer after going into administration.

- Marussia who also went into administration found a buyer and are now known as manor.

- Vettel is now at Ferrari, Alonso at Mclaren again.

- Toro Rosso have youngest ever F1 racer in there team Max Verstappen.

- Mercedes in pre season testing have lost there reliability issues that blighted there domination of 2014 a little... So all you fans that hate Mercedes are probably going to hate them this season even more.

- sauber have had driver issues as van der garde had an agreement with them that he would race during the 2015 season but that has not happened and he is now test driver again.

Line ups and information here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/30427769

Race 1: Melbourne, Australia 2015 13-15 March

So what happened in practice 1?

P1 came and went and it was Mercedes who dominated it, Rosberg was first 0.029 seconds ahead of Hamilton and it was quite clear to see that Mercedes had still got the pace from last season as they were a whole second ahead of the field.

P1: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31864837

Practice 2: same once again but Rosberg was 0.1 ahead of Hamilton but Hamilton was still 0.7 quicker than 3rd place of Ferraris Vettel... There was also a crash for Kevin Magnusson who is filling in for the injured Alonso who was advised not to race this weekend.

P2: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31866009

Practice 3: pretty much produced the same results but with Hamilton finished 1st in p3 with Vettel in 2nd and Rosberg in 3rd. It wasn't such good news for Mclaren as there car seemed to have gotten worse from last year and they were 3.5 seconds off the pace...

P3: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31884575

Practice results of all 3: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/2015/australian-grand-prix/results/practice

Qualifying came and well you can pretty much guess that Mercedes were going to be on pole but with which driver? I can tell you now that it is Lewis Hamilton who has qualified 1st for the opening Grand Prix in Melbourne. He beat his teammate Nico Rosberg to pole and I think it's hardly surprising that Mercedes have got a 1-2 in qualifying. Hamilton was 1.3 seconds quicker than 3rd place Massa as Mercedes seem to be showing that they will virtually unbeatable again. At the other end of the field, Mclaren were last with both cars and without Manor racing you can see it being a very dismal start to 2015 season for Mclaren.

Enjoy the read and I will be including the race results as I will be following F1 very closely like always. I will be keeping you guys up to date with the news and the results of each race. Also be interesting to see your views on the results and season as it progresses.

I'm glad Ferrari is back in business. Vettel has shown he fits in ferrari just fine. It's boring to watch two Mercedes p1 and p2, but the rest is indeed interesting to watch. Can't wait to see the upcoming race. :)

McLaren.. LoL

So there we have race 1 complete in Melbourne Australia. Hamilton won it.

With the race starting with only 15 cars on the grid it was due to be an interesting race:
-with manor not racing, Valtteri Bottas told not to race due to be injured during qualifying, Kevin Magnusson was hit by the new found reliability issues with his Mclaren car and never made it out onto the grid and Red Bull's Daniel Kvyat having a gear box failure before he made it to the grid.

So the race itself with 15 drivers on the starting grid and as the race started we lost our 1st racer Pastor Maldonaldo as he got tagged by Felipe Nassr and spun into the Barrier, which called the first safety car of the season out. From the grid Hamilton got away well and hung onto 1st, while Rosberg didn't get such a great start and was having to defend closely to Vettel. From the restart of the safety car Hamilton once again got away better and pulled out a good commanding lead which he held between 2-5 seconds throughout the race, meaning Rosberg had to settle for 2nd, but as we all predicted Mercedes were in a league of there own with Vettel finished a whole 34 seconds behind Hamilton.
Minus the front 2 the race was made with the debutants Felipe Nassr finishing 5th for Sauber a strong finish for his debut in F1, Toro Rosso Carlos Sainz also finished in a strong position 9th however the other debutant Max Verstappen was a DNF due to a blown engine which made him have to end his race.
The same was for Kimi Raikkonen who's race was cut short due to car issues. The most disappointing result was Jenson Button for Mclaren and although he met his target which was to get the car to the end of the race but he finished in 11th and last place and a whole 30ish seconds behind 10th place Perez which I think we can all say for team like Mclaren that isn't acceptable.

So the top 3 finished with Hamiliton, Rosberg, Vettel.

Nope it was not car issues, there was tyre loose, se before it loosen he had to retire that he not get penalty for next race, i was super super pissed and did swear 15 min after he had to retire, i havent been so pissed for serveral years and usually loss not hurt so much, but when i see how fast he was and how much he had misfortune it hurt too much. I had to stop watching race after he retired, in first corner Räikkönen was ahead of Vettel and Vettel drive Räikkönen outside of circuit, Räikkönen give too much space to Vettel and Vettel didnt give anything back what in my mind was unsporting behavior, he should have give Räikköne space to keep car in tje circuit when Räikkönen give him space too, but Vettel have been always very unsporting to his team mates, he always hated Webber even that Webber didnt do anything to earn that hate and unsporting tricks what he did many time to Webber. Plus Räikkönen was so unlucky with his pit stops, but after i unload my feelings, i try start positive things, i was thinking that it was better to retire from place 5 than place 1 and now i feel a lot better already when Wild won game against St. Louis!

I really think that Ferrari can can catch up Mercedes in this season, Championship probably go to Hamilton, but in half season mark i think Ferrari is even with Mercedes speed and can start catch up Mercedes point lead.

Thank you for the correction :) and yeah I agree I personally, don't like Vettel one bit I think when he won the 4 championships it was more to do with the car than the driver... Whereas Hamilton showed last season that he had skill to beat Rosberg even after Rosberg cheated at spa.

Looks like there won't be a German Grand Prix, as the Hockenheim bosses said they couldn't be ready in time for the race and because the German Grand Prix alternates between Nurburgring and Hockenheim, the Nurburgring doesn't have a contract for 2015 so there will be no German Grand Prix which is sad :(

Vettel beat Webber really clear too in the championship years... same with hamilton rosberg... For me Webber never was a good driver... He failed by overtake slower cars... and vettel lead with 30 secs plus...

Yeah THATS SUCK. German always should be in schedule, its like Monaco, its like air what you breathe, German fans love F1 and its wrong to take grand prix out from them. F1 is too expensive if German cant pay costs.

Yeah but in 2010 Webber lost only for 14 points, but in other seasons he lost for big margin, Webber was solid second driver of team and important when car had to develop, but in race he was very unlucky many time, but yes in overall, Webber wasnt as good as Vettel, but they keep him team so Vettel not get so big rival in team when he didnt get along with his teammates well. I think.

What do you guys think about the dutch driver Verstappen? He is a young and very talented driver and already seen some good races from him this year.

Kind regards,
