You should have saved etkey file and emailed it to yourself.

If You formatted, It's gone for good.

It won't take you long to earn 9000 XPSAVE back...

Remember to gain some XP at least once a Month to keep it.

Beginners 2 is running SilEnT mod, so yes we can get your XP back. However we would need some proof of that- ie a screenshot. But indeed, it's easy to earn 9k XP, and it won't take long to get back- just a few days, or a week at most if you play often.

Hi Shorto,

I may be able to help you with this,

etkey is in this location,

Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\main\etkey

right click etkey and copy, paste it on your desktop than store it in a few places outside your computer :)

What You need to save is in C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\silent

It's the silent (DAT file).

You only need etkey for mods other than silent(jaymod, noquarter...).

For most of the other Enemy Territory mods:

First You have to find the etkey file...You may not even have one and XP won't save.

It may be in C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain

or it may be in hidden folder: User->AppData->Local->Punkbuster->ET->etmain

But You need to make hidden folders visible in Windows.

Start, Control panel(view all or small icons or classic view) Folder Options,

View(TAB) Fill in circle or box; Show hidden files and folders...Apply OK

This installer from etkey.org will download etkey file for You and install

Punkbuster Service on computer(It's necessary for XPSAVE on the other mods that use etkey).

Then save both silent file and etkey file so You won't lose If You format harddrive.
