Hi all,

I often post videos in the "general videos" section.

Alot of them come from Facebook.

And most of the time, just pasting the link doesn't work properly and I have to go on Youtube to find the same vid and post it.

Example :

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=796593637027745

Even removing the S in https gives the same result : no preview of the vid in the post.

Also tryed to add the tags but same result.

Any idea how to solve this small issue ?

Right click before pasting, and click "Paste as plain text" Problem solved :D

As for facebook, I am not sure if the same applies..  I never have posted a vid from there..

Read your post wrong, never mind hehe

I think it's not possible, unless you could add html to your post... there is no bbcode for facebook videos

Testing

<div ALIGN="right">
<object>
<param name="movie" value="pJZEPgiqQtR.swf">
<param name=wmode value=transparent>
<embed src="https://fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net/rsrc.php/v1/yZ/r/pJZEPgiqQtR.swf" wmode="transparent" width="200" height="200">
</embed>
</object>
</div>

<object width="220" height="220">
<param name="movie" value="pJZEPgiqQtR.swf">

</embed>
</object>

If above didn't work, then use the longer road :D

Longer road
Use Firefox, install flash downloader addon for firefox. After installation, go to FB URL with that video, use the addon to download that particular flash video into your PC. Once done, upload the downloaded file into your youtube and share the URL here :P

EDIT:
I just did that and

EDIT:

I just did that and

I tryed both solutions.

The first one couldn't work, whatever the changes and values in the code.

And the longest works indeed.

I think I'll keep switching from FB to Youtube, it's the "less long" way !!!!  :D

Thanks for looking at it. ;)
