Changing Default .txt editor

Midnight

Recommended Posts

So I installed Rainmeter on my work pc, so that when I get bored I can play with it. It's been a while since I've used it, but I remember that when I did I has used Sublime Text 2 as the .txt editor, instead of Notepad. I want to make Sublime the default editor for .txt and .ini files, and I've changed it through Control Panel -> Default programs ->Associate a file type or protocol with a program.

I thought this changed it, but every time I go to edit through Rainmeter it opens up Notepad.

Just right click a file with that extension, click open with, and navigate to the program you want, making sure that "Always open files of this type with this program" is checked. :)
