Need Help to installing ET

Hey, It's Oreo* from Nq3. I've a problem. I've a new Computer, he is great. I've installed Et but When I launch nq3,  I've an error message : "Game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) Failed pure server check"

Can  someone help me please? :c

I've a twice problem. I can't Dl maps.. It's write : Missing pack [Name of Map] They don't want I dl from the server. Why? :'(

Start ET, Press Esc key, Press Options button, Game: Click on: Get missing Files From server...and change to: Yes.

Also: Click on Use HTTP/FTP Downloads and change to Yes. Click OK.

Find the missing map you require then download it and install it within your etmain files within the same folder were the other map files reside. 

 

If you have Windows 7 installed then go to et game ( right mouse click -> Properties > and find the tab were you select "Compatible XP Version ) that might do the trick.

you can try connecting to a nodownload server in the server browser, then entering /seta allowdownload 1 into the console. then connect to the server you want and the maps will download automatically.

 

i'm often tempted to turn this off though, because the in-game map downloader is so slow on older computers. it's much faster to check the map list on splatterladder or something and download the maps you need individually from the FA downloads section, then put them in your etmain folder.
