gaskarthx Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Hello all ◕‿◕. Do you like horror movies or don't you like them at all? (;╹⌓╹) What makes - in your opinion - a horror movie scary? ⊙ï¹âŠ™Ghosts? Monsters? Serial killers? Aliens? Or just the fact that someone get tortured really badly? =ÍŸÍŸÍž =͟͟͞͞ ï¾( ´Д`)ノ What is your favourite horror movie and why? I really liked the SAW-trilogy. Not because it was scary, but I really liked the traps (oh my god, I hope I don't sound like a psycho right now lol). I also liked the story and guessing who the actual killer really is, but I had it wrong after every part, so yeah. I liked that. I also liked Death Silence, because I am not a fan of antique dolls at all, and this movie is about creepy dolls and daaah, I liked this movie. Let me know what you think about horror movies! Graftak Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I don't think I can talk about horror movies in context of liking it. Most of the times I just judge a horror movie on how scary it was, how frightened I got or how many times I fel from the couch from a sudden scary moment. My favorite movies in this context are: The Conjuring Mama The Grudge The Saw etc things are only dirty and boody, Im not afraid of that as a upcoming doctor. Quote

I totally agree with you at that point, haha ;p. I still have to see The Conjuring, but I did saw The Grudge. That movie was pretty awesome, but everytime I watched it, a little thing happened; - When I watched it with a friend a couple years ago, she was staying here and we were going to sleep on the trampoline in a tent, so we watched the movie, and that night, we heard a cat meowing under the trampoline and running around the trampoline, when we don't even have much cats in the neighbourhood? - When I stayed at her house one time, we watched it again, and that night, under her window, a cat meowed under her window and her sister freaked out, she watched the movie with us, like, they live at a place where nobody has a cat as a pet so. - The last time we watched it, we heard a cat again haha. I bet Toshio Saeki was trying to scare us. Quote

Not only while your watching but also after watching it should scare the crap out of you because of noises or things you normally you don't give any attention. Without watching it maybe you wouldnt even have noticed the cats.. But now you make a connection just because you saw the movies:P Quote
United Blood Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Alright I'm a huge horror fan and try to watch every movie I can and own a lot of horror movies. I love them because I like getting scared and love the adrenaline rush I get from them. I like all types of horror and the main reason is because of the suspense and you feel your heart beating fast not knowing who the killer(s) is or where he/she is. REC, Silent Hill, Nightmare on elm street (1984), 28 days later (2002) All great, I have so many but will not list them all. Quote
