I don't think there needs to be XP save.....there's two other servers with XP save so lets leave it at that, there should also be about 4 mines not 0.

Was playing on the sw server earlier, Got at least 10 people on, we had fun :D. SO here is my list of Ideas

 

If double, Triple, multi etc.. kill be added to the server.

Can we get xp level up for guns only, Then xp reset every round, Just Like On Wocen pub.

Map starting Automatically, so players won"t have to ready up.

Set Land mines to 4.

!Putteam is not enabled.

No censors please :

 

Also wanted to see if we can alter the sw server rules a bit from the other servers. Honestly I think the bitching rule shouldn't be applied the sw core server. Almost every good player with a decent aim likes to whine and complain, to provoke players. Server would die if we admin this server for whiners and such. I know some of you guys will disagree with me, but Box servers are like this. Players will not come back if we do force this rule on them. Hope some of you agree with me.

Yeah, it's fun to actually play for obj and not just mindless fragging, one thing though I just wish it was etpro 2.60b as mouse sens is different to other mods and I can't find a sens similar to the one I have on other mods :cry

Also need to have it to where the first round scores carry over to the second round.....and make the enemies remaining HP visible when they kill you. /cg_damagekick needs to be forced to 1 for sure or its like having 0 recoil.

We tried it out! Its Awsome! But wouldn`t it be better to base it on ETpro not ETpub? I don`t know if it is possible...just curious.<------also question from another players.

Yep we played on it with Aigle, sfinx, jeffy peter and some, was nice but i wonder if it was possible to have a etpro one, since you already have 2 etpub, and this server looks awesome, you'll get more people if it's etpro than etpub :), FA is really popular, it won't be hard to find people for etpro :)

Old Etpro was dead for 1 year and then due to lack of donations we closed it off. This it totally funded by donation.

 

To be honest we are not willing to pay more then 300$/month. If the donor wants to be on Etpro I have no problem in moving it to Etpro. It's all up to what For's wants. (Etpro or Etpub)

I can only agree that it would be more awesome with etpro :) but yes at least we get to do some obj and that is what i enjoy there. Only need to get more players there. ;)

Added + sprees. If someone complain, let me know I'll modify them the time between the kills. I moved the first/second sound/chats to the player envi only. So only the "big" ones will be played for everyone.

You get the first level of gun normally and won't go higher after that. The xp reset each start of round so the players can see their stats at the end of the game. (That was already part of the config however I inverse the scrim config and the box config when I sent them to Dare so it's my fault. The weapons are back to normal too.)

Same reason stated before, it's back to normal now with pub configs. My bad!

I agree with you. There will always be bitching on the box server. They just need to respect us and if they don't let's warn/warn kick like we always do. If we want it to be popular, we need to restrain the use of our admin. The more you use it, the more they will be pissed off.

Completely agree with you, it was in the "box" config. It's on now.

 

Now my comments, what about an auto-shuffle each new maps. This will keep teams balanced and since the xp reset at each round, good players will have high xp and will be separated. The shuffle will work great with only 1 shuffle. That will prevent any of the admins to use the command, piss everyone off and make them leave.

I haven't yet been to this server yet, but I can see from these posts here and checking the raw server info via xfire that I may be able to help some what. I helped setup and manage STA Box and WoCen Box and I still have back ups of both those server files with all the settings, not to mention I have set up 2 ETPub Box servers on .55 that were almost identical to STA Box. I highly suggest making a map.cfg for each individual map on the server with the correct settings for a 6v6 league setting and put these inside the mapconfigs folder. You will also need to make a default.cfg and place this inside the mapconfigs folder to override the previous settings from the last map played, after that the server will search out the cfg for the current map loaded. This way you can alter the server settings for each individual map when that map is loaded and keep the settings the same as they would be in a 6v6 league match.

The map times and spawn times are adjusted to meet ETL, STA and ESL standards for 6v6 matches. If other maps than the ones I have posted are on the server and there is no map.cfg for that map then the server will automatically fall back to the default.cfg settings for that particular map. All settings are tried and true and server was running smooth and clean prior to the contract running out. Wreck and I ran this server for 6 months prior to taking it down although it had a different name at the time. None of the setting posted have been adjusted from the ones I have on file, this is the raw server just as it was when it was last edited.
