you guys have to look at how they play and stuff. yes lebron is good and is probably mistaken as the best basketball player out there, but take a second and look at how kobe preforms. kobe is truly better than lebron by a bit

Ok LeBron is definetey better for a few simple reasons

1. he is better overall ... he can out score, out rebound, out pass, out dunk, he can basically do anything better but hit the 3ball

2. kobe is a ball hog n shoots 30 times a game n doesnt even hit 50%

3. LeBron can play defense with the best of them, while kobe gets beat day in n day out

4. who won the past 4 mvp's NOT KOBE... LeBron has won 3 of the last 4 mvps

5. and after this season LeBron will hav a Championship under his belt

until 2011, Kobe was "better" b/c Lebron could turn it on with stats in all 5 categories during the regular season but choked deep in the playoffs whereas Kobe personified clutch whenever his team needed him the most.

however now that Kobe's athleticism has completely deserted him--and keep in mind ball is a young man's game--he is no longer clutch. all his jumpers fall short off the rim because his legs aren't there anymore. hell he can barely dunk these days--a very sad sight to see him jump as high as he can and barely touch the rim. I once studied his signature moves, but I gotta admit, his signature these days is moan until the ref gives him a tech. man, just play the game.

 

black mamba used to be the best player for a decade in that he was the player all the kids wanted to be, wanted to play like. still love him but he ain't 'it' anymore.

lebron's stats make him the best at the moment but don't sleep on KD35, who is the only player in the world who is a better individual player than lebron. lebron is at the moment the better player only b/c he takes better care of the rock. but when KD learns to handle the ball with care (OKC need to trim down those TOs!) then lebron had better watch out!

I love watching Durant shoot the ball, his stroke is so clean. but he's got to pass the ball more carefully...all those turnovers are gonna bite OKC in the rear against a team as organized as the Spurs!
