Skillz Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Ill be honest, I havent played COD4 since COD6 came out. Thus making me curious... if someone(like me) do not play on the COD4 servers will he still be kicked from F|A membership even though he/she plays with other clan members on COD6? Mina.. Um you've been out for months! J/K! Quote

Anomaly Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 It seems that we've been losing a lot of players. I will be logging any player that logs in after 1/23/10 in order to determine which of our set of members no longer play COD4. I'll probably run it for a few weeks and if you don't show up, you'll probably be marked as inactive. I think FA members who have the ability to add players to the clan should scout the COD4 servers more often. I've convinced 5-6 players to join who i notice constistantly have higher scores than most other players but seem to be turned away when i tell them to apply on our forums. Perhaps asking certain FA members to spend part of their time recruiting top players would be a good idea. as long as it dosent seem to forceful. Quote

It does not matter if they can score high or not, we will accept anyone. If you do not wish to register for the clan which takes a few minutes and be a server regular that is perfectly fine. Quote

If you do not wish to register for the clan which takes a few minutes and be a server regular that is perfectly fine. I understand we will accept anyone. Adding members to the clan while in game is alot faster and would increase the amount of those who join. The ones who want to join but havent taken the time to register in the forums are infact server regulars that i play with often. Finding ways to increase the amount of clan members is important I think. There is still many people who play COD4 but seemingly less clan members do. i've mostly wanted to have new members because the members who have been around for a while have almost no desire to have clan matches. I only play cod4. Im a new member of F|A and its starting to seem like joining has little benefits other than the !warn admin control and the =F|A= next to my name. Some of the older members were telling me that we used to have clan matches on COD4 before MW2 came out. I'd like to have the kind of team work and clan matches i've heard about if its at all possible. I mean absolutely no disrespect. I just really want to have clan matches and really feel like im part of a team. Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted February 17, 2010 Administrators Posted February 17, 2010 I understand we will accept anyone. It does not matter if they can score high or not, we will accept anyone. Just to elaborate what Dan mean to say is: 1.We don't invite cheaters. 2. Bitches will not stay longer in our clan. Either kick or ban. 3. We have trial period of 3 months and in which clan hoppers will move on. 4. Those who don't visit forums often can definitely join us but promotions are strictly based on forums + server activity. 5. We don't invite kids. We do act like kids sometimes because it's fun game. 6. Lack of maturity and un cooperative nature is not welcome. Quote

I'd like to have the kind of team work and clan matches i've heard about if its at all possible. I mean absolutely no disrespect. I just really want to have clan matches and really feel like im part of a team. There are 3 concerns I have with rebuilding the scrim team. I hope they can be circumvented, but right now its just a hope. 1. Scrim team needs donations. Without donations, we can't have a scrim server, which means we can't scrim. I'm going to try to convince my dad to part with some money every month to donate to a scrim server if interest seems to spark again, though only until then. Which leads to #2 2. Lack of interest/motivation amongst the majority of members. Those that are interested are reluctant to step up, myself included. Those that are motivated are not interested. And then there's some who are interested and motivated, but I'd fear for my sanity if they got the reins of the scrim team (no offence fred). Until there's a general interest in at least 10 or so members that have a flexible schedule, I can't see the scrim team lasting long. And finally 3. Continuing motivation. First scrim team died after 3 or so matches, or about 5 weeks into conception. Getting used to scrim takes time, as it requires different strategies than pubs, and you usually lose a lot in the beginning as a start up team. A team needs to stay motivated and try harder in the face of defeat, learn from defeat and adapt. Or change the environment to find a mode that is better suited to their play style. Quote
