lol i played it and here are some screenshots for what happened.

Starting Off:

Dare is dying 15 seconds into the game:

 

Found a random tombstone:

 

Hulk gets screwed because he ate wild berries:

 

Magically the wagon exploded:

 

Hulk gets screwed again because he couldn't lay off the wild berries

 

Yoyo got bitten by a snake and then got a typhoid right after

 

2 seconds later Yoyo dies ! Weak sause !

 

We ran out of food and on the brink of starvation. My hunting skills for food fails us

 

Failed to cross a river and we resorted to canabalism at the last few moments. Laughed so hard and forgot to take a screenshot but found one on web:

Post(?)Organic's Epic Oregon Trip

 

The Adventure started well, I was prepared with enough food to last for some time and had all the necessary items to survive:

 

 

I managed a successful sailing across the Kansas River:

 

 

Stopped to admire the cutting edge graphics of the scenery at the Big Blue River Crossing

 

 

But it was only a matter of time until someone got sick:

 

 

A few days later Flubber got the first of his 2 snakebites:

 

 

Jim was down on his luck so far in this trip:

 

 

Once more Jim was stricken with a problem:

 

 

Jim's trip and life ended in a failed attempt to cross the Snake River:

 

 

Dbag was the next to go, a mere 12 days after Jim. Goodnight sweet prince:

 

 

Flubber passed days later. Flubber, like Jim, had many problems on this trip:

 

 

Name was the last to perish on this cruel trip, taking a large chunk of my supplies, including my last 8 pounds of food with him:

 

 

After the last disaster on the river I thought I was doomed, but in a welcome turn of events, The end of the river heralded the end of the game.

 

 

And although I lost 4 people, I managed to survive the harsh Oregon Trail (On my first attempt too), something that Onion could not achieve.

Rofl, good post, I remember sneaking down to the family comp and playing this game when I was a kid, .. Dad did not allow any form of games on the computer

He did, and still does, consider them evil!!!

So I had secret drives, hidden files, and a few friends that I swapped games with over bulletin boards, On my blazing fast 9600 baud modem =D

 

That was a great game by the way, Compared to Colossal caves or "Adventure" that I was used to playing.. ahh, the glory days of text based rpg's

I played the game as well using names hecken ,onion, theclean ,post organi, lu47 and everybody died but onion made it to the end:P
