I play mostly in Hardcore and i feel like the field ops is extremely limited. It almost impossible to call a air strike when there are 2 or more fields ops on a team. It kind of frustrating and i think they should be able to call more air strikes sooner.

theres just too many retarded fops calling strikes and throwing cans in the most retarded places :(

I hate when some moron are wasting ALL the arty/airstrikes and can't kill one single enemy.

 

That's frustating.

Your right about that..., all it takes is one person as a field ops and if he/she is an idiot then the whole team goes without the benifit of arty and air strikes. If used correctly it can be a very big advantage when trying to over take a flag. Also, if you noticeed--the same idiot wasting all the arty & a. strikes almost never supplies his team.

I know. This is on the etpub and hercore servers. I think this is a good thing. It stops arti spam and over use. Gives the atackers a chance. Still it is very limited so if it was increased it would be nice, B)

On jaymod that's solved easily, just shoot the can. On hardcore I rarely see 2 fdops, usually there is either one or none (especially on special delivery, 0 fdops). Also on hardcore there's no indicator when arty/airstrike is available.

I think we need more mortars and panzers on Hardcore too.

it's created a good atmosphere on the servers i think.

imagine a 50 man server where you can spam arty continuously. that would be either a 50 man server full of noobs calling airstrikes all dam night, or it would be a generally empty server owing to the noobs who figured out they can get hundreds of kills by spamming arty on the spawn points all game.

all the same i've gotten frustrated with it as well. even if you are the only FOP you have a hard time disabling a tank =/ you can maybe stop the tank at fuel dump um twice maybe? if the allies keep it moving, because of the long wait time. i wouldn't mind shaving about 10 seconds off of it...

 

.. but then again it's nice to have ppl forced to shoot at each other rather than 12 ppl going for binoculars monster kill the whole map.

try me on pub sometime, we'll see if you can get it to the tunnel in under 5 mins :P

On hardcore and pub server the Field Ops are very low and need to be turned up, wont happen though already tried to get that changed along with a few other things. I tell everyone when I play, that only 1 fop per team, anymore than 1 fops per team is useless on pub and hardcore. Hilarious thing is fops is turned down way too low, but panzers are turned up way too high and you can have 5 or more rnades at least per team. Rnade is alot more dangerous and ridiculous than panzer yet you can have a whole team full of them. The jaymod servers have 50 or so people on them, with that many players its already messed up to begin with, along with the worst mod ever created. So all in all feel free to make suggestions on the server settings, but dont hold ya breath on getting them changed.

Yes, it's true but, what can we do about that? we can't just kick them because they are throwing cans!

Just read my comment again, that suckz when somebody waste ALL the arty and can't kill a single enemy.
