Ch0s3n 0n3's Tips & Tricks about mine's

So i wouldn't say im best mine killer but i would say im good with em, so i thought id share some tips where to plant. (Not obj more to get kills with mine's. This is made for jaymod mainly but you can ofc use those spots in all mods)

 

So first you should get lvl 5 engineer so you get S-mines they jump in air and explode they do more dmg i think and they are good coz u can easily get multi kills with those.

 

 

 

Dont plant mine's on blue are coz they are easily spotted, if u plant on sides (red zones) if someone try to spot the blue zone he wouldn't spot mines on red zones becouse those are line of sight, behind corners and boxes.

 

A : Planting in bush will make it harder to see , enemies see your mine as small transparent object on ground so if u plant in bush you'r enemies wont usually see it at all.

B : Plantin right on doorstep has same effect as A harder to see and some usually players are lazy to spot mines so they jump over but the doorway isnt that big so if they try to jump over they hit the door frame and drop on the mine.

 

So this is the basic idea when planting mines and you should try to keep that in mind.

 

Then few trick spots.

 

People often wonder how did they die by mine inside building where there is no dirt.

Well its simply.

 

A : For an example if there is flowerpot you can plant in there players hardle spot those and since its above the ground lvl walking near them makes em explode.

 

 

A : Planting behind door is almost certain kill for you why? well when player opens the door the door set's mine and explodes it so the player doesn't need to even step on the mine just by opening the door makes it explode.

 

Another good spot for mines is top of ladder like in haunted mansion if people peeks from ladder mine set's off and he/she dies.

 

Also in some maps you can plant mines underwater like in Caen 2 and the water is green so you don't see trought it so if u plant in the dirt underwater its really hard to see those.

 

There are lots good mine spots in every map and ofc im not gonna show them all or it would be over 100 page long topic but here are few basic tips and tricks that i use alot.

Ofc in time you will make your own good spots but this is good for starting.

On supply depot, you can set mines on the side of the road, which in turn when the truck drives by, the mines explode, whoever is moving the truck, dies. Same with the tank on goldrush for example, planting mines in front of it will automatically damage the tank, of course if there is enough mines to actually damage it... Just a few other simple tricks to stop the tank and/or killing the people moving the truck on supply depot.

personally, on silent, I plant one mine expecting to be seen and jumped over. Then I plant two right where the person will land.

 

I always plant them in two's btw, because too many people have flak jackets.

Nice one, play with mines can be interesting especially if you can't play properly with other weapons (my case when I play with a shitty pc)

Also, funny thing I discovered on Jay 3, to get kills you can plant in a tunnel (in oasis for example, you know, the tunnel after the wall allies have to destroy) at least 10 poison gas mines, and put 2/3 explosive mine at the end of the tunnel (M or S). Usually a first enemy walks on the poison mines and activates them all (or almost), the explosive mines are for him. The players who will follow will die almost instantaneously cause of the poison, trust me, I tried on myself, it's very quick

(You can also put more explosive mines at the end of the tunnel just in case)

i once did on jay2 where is 50 mines i putted 30 gas min on 1 spot and then its insta kill like u sayd

If You are diffuzing enemy landmine and teammate runs by and trips it, You can't diffuze it! 

 

You'll be lucky if You can jump away from mine without getting killed.

 

So Please be careful of Engineers at work.
