i agree with speedfact. if you dont know how, right click the desktop item (cod4) and Run as administrator

 

I'm on Windows XP, guys!

I believe the Torrent might be the issue.. Did you get an ISO or was it one of those unpack and install deals?

Are you trying to run MP or SP? I'd also check your event logs for an error...graphics driver crashing maybe. To be completely honest, I download cod4 torrent way back in the day to check it out (honest, I ended up buying it retail afterwards). My MP never did work.

Are you trying to run MP or SP? I'd also check your event logs for an error...graphics driver crashing maybe. To be completely honest, I download cod4 torrent way back in the day to check it out (honest, I ended up buying it retail afterwards). My MP never did work.

Both actually. SP never opened for me. But MP worked for me just once. That's why I downloaded too! Just to check the game out. I'm gonna check the event logs.

 

1. Get a hammer.

2. Smack yourself.

3. Now smack the pc.

4. Open cod4

It's got to be the torrent, they never work out right, unless you get a full on ISO rip with correct cd-key of course..

i get this error after this when COD4 crash but when i press yes it change all my settings back, so now on i press NO, so it won't change anything.

Will it run any other game? If not, your computer just broke down. And what are your system specs?
