In the lagometer there isn't much to be seen, just connection interrupted and a high vertical green bar, sometimes red bars but usually not.

 

The funny thing is that (in some fights) my opponent and myself seemed to froze in different moments, for example I had a fight when we both lagged, then the lag was over for me but not for him, so I could kill him easily (and he had a much lower ping than mine).

 

If it happens again, I will open mtr or ping in the background to see if I have packet loss when there is connection interrupted

I am wondering if it's machine hard drive issue? I get locked out of FTP too every 3-4 days ... It's hosting with gameservers and I don't know what's wrong. Either DDoS or Hardware issue.

 

Need to keep telling gs.com to fix it... telling them is like banging head against wall.

Server uptime normally bears no issue on lag normally cos we keep the log files lower then 400Mb most of the time. Will reboot it once their are less players..

 

Yesterday I had set up auto rename of logs on linux servers so they get rotated each 7 days. Task runs on each monday morning .. so logs are always smaller in size. Since 5 yrs I did it manually.. no more

I wonder if it will be a good idea to move HC to the same server with SW? I was on HC and had lag 200. Joined SW in second window and had 115. was on 2 servers at the same time and had ping differences. Location is the same, my inet is the same..servers (machines) are different......just asking..I dont want to make SW laggy from that too

Dare u already saw my mtr - my inet sucks I know it All I can say is that SW and HC are in the same location and I have 2 different pings for 2 servers at the same time. You said HC is on old machine and SW is on new., so I thot maybe just moving HC on new machine..anyway..nwm
