Chameleon Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I post this here in the ET discussion because I see it seems the issue is much more rampant on ET.I have only been playing this game a few weeks and maybe wouldn't have known about it, if a buddy hadn't brought it over and coerced me into trying it. Anyway, in the few weeks I have been playing I have been getting better at the game and enjoy it quite a bit. I actually have been getting more kills than deaths lately, which I never thought would happen to be honest, but it seems almost daily I see unban requests for this game on multiple servers for ET and I gotta say, it's quite hard to believe that some would even have the balls for a lack of a better word to come and ask to be unbanned. Seems like cheating takes no skill at all and I can't see how it can make the game anymore fun, plus using aimbots and wallhacks and all that make the game a lot less fun for those of us who play fair and enjoy the game. Unfortunately there are also a lot of players who believe every time they get killed someone had to be cheating, even though it is not the case. Some of the cheaters think the bans are to harsh, but I don't think they are, I think sometimes they don't get what they deserve, maybe I am being harsh, but I just hate when the majority of players are just trying to have fun, and hang out with their friends and a small pocket of people want to ruin it for everyone. Okay I feel better now, got it out of my system hehe.. If I posted this in the wrong place I apologize, I just felt it was the appropriate place..Again thanks to FA for cracking down on these people and doing your best to keep the game clean for everyone -=Chr0n=- A.K.A. Haruhi Suzumiya Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 The hacks in this game if used correctly are made to mimic the aim and playing style of a good player. Humanized bots can be set up to look the exact same as someone with good aim and wh's can be used to match a player with great map and timing knowledge. So in the end it goes both ways. Some will get away with it till the game dies out and others will be falsely accused and banned. This is why when someone is banned, at least here at f|a, they have an unban request section and many admins will review the demo's to come up with the correct answer, or at least one that they seem fit for the community. 3 Quote
