Now that you point it out, I'll probably give it a shot. But I have a 64 bit machine with 64 bit VM software so I'm not sure it will be supported =[

Whaa they released the OS? Going to so install it on my old computer just to see how it is

 

It's in early early alpha stage. Will not support hardware much. use VMware.

I tryed it the other day it came out, can't get internet to work through WiFi but hmm a browser-only operating system, may work good on Netbooks.

aw..im not sure if i trust servers not to get hacked or my data to be peeked at by some google employee...then again i do bank online..but not everywhere has wifi/good interent connection. dont think ill be using it much...

yeah its in the real early stage on the final release will support alot more hardware etc.. looks like its going to be a pretty good os. very simple and light..there makeing is based around the net.. get on the net fast and simple fast boot up etc.. it should be a pretty good one i say

if you have VMware, you have to use version 7, set the OS to debian linux and set the networking to be bridged, otherwise it won't work, I have not gotten this working with VMware 6, and haven't tried it on virtualbox
