I play on lowest res and lowest graphics, but can usually spot the enemy fairly easily, My reactions just suck... so I would say it's just your eyes.

I play low res and low graphics, for HW-lag's sake, and my eyes and reactions are bad, but gee, I was following this topic in the hope you guys could help me stop mistaking bushes for heads in ET !

Well RedBaird, based on your picture it appears you have some kind of eye problems so you may want to get that checked out. ;)
