Joku_.
I would like you guys to reconsider the number of bots on Silent 2. The reason is shown in the attachment. In Supply Depot it would have needed 15 human players on axis side before the first human player could have chosen allies. This is of course also due to the fact that there where no admins online, which could have distributed the human players equally on both sides. Not sure if there is some kind of configuration, that would make human players automatically allocate more equally, since I am not that aware of silent server configurations. Well just a thought, of course keeping in my mind I don't know the purpose and goal of the server and its usage. Yours sincerely Joku Edited October 9, 2012 by Joku_. Spaceballs
The number of bots will probably not be reduced, because if there are no human players, teams will be even. It is true that we need more active admins on some servers. However, that's not the bots' fault. It is our problem. I would say that the number of bots is just fine. To me it seems as if those players enjoyed playing in stacked teams against bots. If they didn't want to do so, they could have joined spec. Bots would have switched teams to even up and then human players could have joined allies. Well, if an admin had been there, he would have used putteam right away. That's for sure =)
Vanaraud
People stacking isn´t the case this time. Allies have all the time 1 more bot now, and can´t remove 1 bot manually also. So theres just no other way to join teams than to join the axis. Thanks for reporting Joku.

The player could chose the team and he would choose axis in 99 of 100 times. Also, if one of Axis would go to spectator, the teams would be 12-14 and one bot would move over to make it 13-13 which would allow a player to join allies. Am I missing something? I was on the server today with The Dude to see how the bots are behaving and I think I know why teams are staying uneven. When you connect the server, the amount of bots doesn't change but as soon as you join a team, one bot will be removed. So the teams are 13-14 and when you join Axis, it will go to 14-14, causing one bot to leave and it is 13-14 again. So the next person also has to join Axis and so on. This stacks up people on one team obviously. I think that needs to be changed in order to get even teams. Either change the behavior of the bots or make it 14-14 so that people can chose which team they want to join. And also, you can't put bots in other team btw. Demo and screenshot attached if you need it. 2012-10-10-202358-caen2.dm_84.zip Edited October 10, 2012 by Gubbi
KevinBacon
Perhaps someone could !set joku on silent 2 so he can handle this problem when no mods are on? He is a friend of the clan to those of us who know him. Always evens up, super helpful. Just a suggestion.

And to demonstrate it I took the screenshot while I was in spec to show that even if I wanted to join allies I literally couldn't. The guestion was more to ask if it is a problem on all silent 2 maps or is there just some configuration on Supply Depot that causes this behaviour. And thanks for the kind words
