Dear FA...(gs)

I'm really pissed off. I'm not a disrespectful person, but I find it really annoying. I joined a FA server the other day and now my ET is more or less hijacked by FA. I don't get why you guys would force a FA-mod install for joining. If I knew this I would never have joined.

 

How do I get rid of the FA buttons and links at my ET startup menu without uninstalling?

i think he wants to remove the FA menu (which comes with installed pk3 cleaner) & replace it with original ET menu. only solution i can think of is to re-install

in jaymod map you find our menufile

remove it in the jaymod folder and it will solve you're problem, that is if you only visited jay 1 to jay 4

I knew such a comment would come, hence: "I'm not a disrespectful person, but I find it really annoying. I joined a FA server the other day and now my ET is more or less hijacked by FA." I always try to be as respectful as possible. But joining a FA-server changing my entire game UI with links (I counted +8 on 1 screen?) to fearless-assassins... that kind of gets to even the most mannered of all.

I don't like the idea of a server modding my menu, in the same way I don't like spyware, spam or malware. It's just pretty invasive. Maybe you guys should reconsider this policy. Anyway, have fun gaming.

He neither visited jay1, jay2, jay3 or jay4 nor our NQ or silent mod servers.

 

F4F4gsG3t0ut0fMyET, can you please update last 8 digit of your GUID so that I can double check which server you visited?

 

Also, as said in this post just delete the pk3 by date i.e. sort by date and delete the latest downloaded pk3 file from your ET and that would fix your issue.

 

That being said 95% clans/servers in ET has their clan menus so members can easily connect to their servers. Good luck find 5% because I wasn't able to find it either in my testing.

Just find another server to play on.

 

Spywares, malaware, etc are their to steal info of users or give you huge trouble.. while menu is enhancement for players so that they can easily join servers when master list is down which has been for quite some time before in past.

 

More or less as a player you should be aware that by using 2 cvars you can disallow all downloads from any server.

Anyways have fun finding other servers or probably you are one of those players who like to whine first and then learn the game or may be you are just member of some xyz clan and you are here just to whine.

 

Simple question of " How can I delete menu" would be suffice for help and users on this forum would have helped you out but you got to use lame absurd metaphors to convey your point.
