I had something like that happen in my first house. I wondered why it was so cheap. It was fifty years old. Things would move at night when there was no one around. Doors closed by themselves. Once my wife and I were watching TV and the lampshade started rocking back and forth for no reason. There was no air movement or anything. My wife's mom slept over once and woke up with a long scratch on her neck. It was weird. We sold the house. I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to have problems selling the house.

i watched scary movies before i was out of my mothers womb.

I watched most of the SCARY movies that were out in theatres. all made me yawn.

I do think Silent Hill's concept was pretty scary though.

People need to watch other people get tortured or loud sudden noises with loud music insync with it to get "scared". Paranormal Activity is the exception. It builds its tension off the acting of the two people in the movie. A scary movie with decent acting. I don't think I've ever seen that. And the fact this movie cost 11 grand to make and it outdoes any bullshit that Hollywood can do further cements my point. BTW the trailer does the movie no justice. I've read lots of comments elsewhere with people saying the trailer was the better than the movie ect ect. Which is beyond silly. But everyone hated the Blair Witch Project, another movie I deem classic. I never listen to peoples reviews movies because these are the people who say 28 days later and Silent Hill are "scary".

All I'm saying is people need millions of dollars in special effects or someone getting there body torn apart to be impressed. Or different ways to torture people. It's pathetic really.

I think its too overhyped, and horror movies these days don't do much for me. My fave was The Thing. Rob Bottin's sfx is the best. :yahoo
