I tried getting an ETKey, i got it, but i dont have Punk Buster. How can i put an ETKey without punkbuster?
Ghostwind
are you running enemy territory as an administrator? if not, try doing this. Also, to get an ETKEY, go to http://etkey.org/

Ghostwind
The instructions are right on the site, right on the front page, on where to put it. This depends on your operating system. You dont need punkbuster to do this as they shut down last year for ET.
Vanaraud
Actually you need basic PB folder(which should install with ET) and you need to enable PB in Play Online menu in etmain and in every mod you play in in order to save XP, keep you in server without autokicks(NQ). Also run ET as administrator. ETKEY goes under Etmain directory. Also here is some more info by Chuckun http://fearless-assassins.com/topic/32718-how-to-get-an-etkey-guid-for-xp-save-etc/
Ghostwind
From what I understand, there is an installer on the main page that will do all of this for you automatically, if it hasnt already been done by the ET installer.

That installer is a joke, manually get a key and locate your folder called "etmain" and paste the key anywhere in there. Now you will have a key. Go to the Lobby and enable punkbuster. The installer wouldn't work on 3 computers I tried is why. It never placed the file in the folder correctly. It's better to manually do it is all, and less trouble. Oh and on I side note I did tell him a way to do it, so i was helping. Once again you guys take things the wrong way! Seriously.

Your choice of language was poor. you could have turned your original post in to something more productive by taking two seconds to explain why the installer isn't such a great thing to use. Anyways, hopefully we were able to help this user out.
