Is there a way to lower the ping in ET ??

it cannot be my Internet because i have high enought speed for it but...

latency and speed are not the same thing.

Ping is about latency, so it's possible to have a bad ping and high speed at the same time. But it is also true that if your internet is slow

that can impact latency as well.

 

You didn't specify if your ping is stable but high, or if you have some lags, but your ping is generally low.

 

Using winmtr (mtr if you use Linux) you can get some statistics about your latency, but other than knowing where the 'bottleneck' is, there is not much you can do.

If you don't download/upload anything when you play, and you don't share your internet, and your pc doesn't have any problems, then you can only blame your internet provider, and/or your physical distance from the server you connect to.

when i play on nitmod server i use to lie on 150ping

pretty constantly its not a problem but it would be nice to land on 50 ping : )

50ping is not possible (atm) because the server is located in the U.S and you are playing from sweden.

If you live at the other side of the earth a ping of constant 150 is pretty decent. From Europe you usually get 150 ping for US servers and vice versa.

The best idea would be to play on Jay 4. There you should have a ping around 25-50 =)
