NervousOne Posted August 19, 2012 Share Posted August 19, 2012 I am a big Sean Connery as James Bond fan, but Craig is my next favorite, and could (well let's say I'm not ruling it out but it's a longshot) overtake Connery. He's plays Bond with a crazy edge to him, and I think that's a little of what it would take to do what Bond does. He's married to Rachel Weisz in real life (the lady from the Mummy I and II). If you want to see other good movies with Craig in them: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the newest one) Defiance Dream House Cowboys and Aliens (not nearly as stupid as it sounds...really) I thought I was throwing away a video rental and it was actually decent for a rental. I mean when the early Bond movies were all about charming gentleman walking through the danger using his wit, charm and gadgets then the trailer tells us: kill, kill, kill. Could be average action movie but not Bond anymore. More like movie in dark tones resembling Batman spinoff. I guess Im skipping the first Bond movie this time. nadionnepj Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 I think Craig is an excellent Bond, 'cause he has gotten to the point where he no longer shows much emotion. Perfect assassin, uses something and throws it away (cars, women, guns). I enjoyed Casino Royale, because it showed how he got to this point. I just hope they don't screw it up with Skyfall. I guess Im skipping the first Bond movie this time. i don't think it tells us kill, kill, kill.... it´s just like Daniel Craig is the first authentic agent taking his job very seriously and isn´t like "well the bad guy catches me so let´s chill in here and wait until i can kill him" he is playing kind of the best James Bond i think... he and Sean Connery were the best Bonds in all time...
