So I get random lag out of nowhere, I know its not my internet connection because my ping always stays in the 40's - 50's. It never gets higher. Could I do anything to get it to stop lagging?

To extend on DD's post; If you don't already have WinMTR you can get it here: http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/ (safe)

 

When you're lagging, run it with the server IP you're having the problem with and post the results here. Without it, the server hosts wont claim any responsibility..

Well i had lag on Recruiting 2 days ago, normal i got around 100-160ping. But these days i had sometimes 999 and Connection lost errer.

Also i was moveing weird backwards/forwards it wasn't smooth. i did a speedtest and saw my download was around 2-4MB (maybe less) and upload 0.6MB i normally have 40download 4 upload (MB)

So it might your internet connection.
