Ok well, I pretty much got a working soundpack and all is well, however, there is two things I ponder..

1. Why in the world will this soundbyte not work in W:ET?? > http://devilhunter.rfc1337.net/random/audioclips/goinhome.wav < I tried converting it and all. It started out as a 22 khz mono which is the format to use. It just won't play in W:ET, but plays elsewhere. I don't even get an error when I try to play it.

2. When I start up my own server, I get these three Messages in the console in Yellow text

"WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader gfx/2d/lagometer"
"WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader models/mapobjects/furniture/sausage.tga"
"WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader models/mapobjects/furniture/bread.tga"

The Lagometer don't show, as the first warning shows, but the two below it, I have no clue. I would think at first it was from the NQ mod as that mod brings back some rtcw stuff to W:ET. So can anyone help me on this? I tried asking on Jaymod forums for a week now, no response, but just a few views. Some help they are, eh?

as regards the sound, I tried to play it with et /play command, and it works for me... didn't put it in a pk3 but I played it from inside et, so I guess the wav format should be ok...

Did u put jaymod pk3 in the mod folder and then started server? What's the command line of your server ? More or less Jaymod forums are dead and Jaybird is as usual... gone....

Try silent mod http://mygamingtalk.com/forums/ next time :)

U F|A username and pass would work...u don't need to register again..

Also did you add any custom mods or packs into the server if yes that might be done wrong and that's why it might give you the errors and if i was you i would use Silent mod bug free so better security etc and personally its better than jaymod.

Regarding the sound did you make a pk3 file and moved the sound file to it then uploaded it to the server?

Yes I have put Jaymod 2.x.x in the jaymod folder, and I run it via config. Here is my configs > http://devilhunter.r...r+Soundpack.zip < my soundpack is in there, labeled zz_TestSoundPack. (I know some sounds are from the F|A Soundpacks, I hope this is Ok. I did this soundpack to play around with in SP and to learn how to do it.)

Well, this is an offline server, because I don't have net at my house, so I just run it via cmd line to Localhost. Also, the only other mod I have atm is the HiddenOptions for Jaymod. I have not looked into Slient as of yet.. If there is a good guide on it like Jaymods I might. I just like jaymod better. Slient feels like a cheap ripoff to NQ mod to me.

Edit: Now that I looked at the site, I see the guide. Just wondering, is there an offline pdf version? I find that easier then any other gudie, as the jaymod pdf guide helped alot setting up

You know what, I just figured out my Soundpack problem. So I have the line in here...

GoingHome
{
sound/fun3/goinghome.wav "Ok That Does it.. Screw You Guys, I'm Going Home"
}

Looks ok right, well guess what, "goinghome.wav" should be "goinhome.wav".. See my mistake?? Forgot to remove the extra G. Heh, so anyhow thats one problem, now to the other three that I experience.. The Warnings about Sasage and Bread, and the Lagometer.

EDIT: since I found that out, I'll remove the soundpack zip off my http. I don't like keeping old stuff on my http heh.
